I'm so happy I tried this wonderful not-so- hidden gem today. Where to start?.. well, I can easily say that place has a charm that follows suit with every other point I will make. I enjoyed the 'petit cafe' that it is. Though indoor seating is limited, this only made the experience better. The coffee is on point and I love that there's an off-menu option. However! What truly makes this place is... the owner, Amanda. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, Amanda did what I've yet to experience with any other cafe in Chelsea or Gatineau, she sat down and got to know me and the other lovely couple I met there. This place embodies Amanda. It isn't hard to see that with the help of Jason, they've created a space that makes connecting with strangers simple and enjoyable. I highly recommend making your way to this cafe while in Chelsea, especially if you're a Harry Potter fan!Enjoy!
UPDATE;
My second time at the cafe was even better! My wife and I also got to know Jason and all I can say is he's hilarious! What a great duo. A must...

The smoothie was delicious….
However, the breakfast sandwich was absolutely disgusting and disappointing. I was served a sandwich with rotten lettuce, and that wasn’t even the worst part!
The egg? Was doused in black pepper. As I picked apart the sandwich, the egg was black, and that is no exaggeration. I took pictures. I couldn’t tell if it was even an egg.
Needless to say, it was inedible. I spent 23$ including cash tip.
I will not be going back and highly recommend that you avoid the disappointment and choose to...
Read moreThis place is an extension of my living room...cozy, quaint and the owners (Amanda and Jason) are always welcoming and open to having great conversation. They have huge hearts and are a cornerstone in this community. And that's just the people. The food is awesome, from their fresh smoothies to their delicious sandwiches (sweet potato burrito, chelsea taco supreme, to some of the more "exotic" italian sandwiches) I have never had anything that would disappoint. Would highly recommend to locals and...
