I will say this, the food was not only fantastic, but affordable. Between two cocktails, two mains, a shared appetizer, and a gigantic dessert, it still only cost $100, which is really good value. More importantly, everything was amazing. As seen, I shared the beet salad with my wife, had the beef tartare, and shared the bread pudding. All of it was made beautifully. Read moreI've been twice now - once for breakfast and again for dinner. In the morning, Le Oiseau Bleu is sunny and cheerful. The avocado toast was memorable.
In the evening, the twinkly lights and intimate booths make it very magical. I had the Chicken hominy pozole and it was nicely spicy. A delicious choice on a cool evening. I had pie for dessert (and wished for vanilla ice cream instead of chocolate) but it was still yummy.
The owner is now an old friend. You can see her incredible artistic touches everywhere throughout Oiseau Bleu.

We also had the crispy Korean chicken burger. The batter is thin on it, so not the typical Korean crispiness, but loved it as it doesn't feel heavy.
