The lady that served us was not smiley but she was everything you can ever ask for! She was so nice and even offered soup to go with our meal!! My sister grew up in Canada so she has very little experience with the Filipino culture. I am so thankful for ate na maganda that she was able to extend our culture to my sister and gave us the best silog experience! We came from Cold Lake, and we were eating in a different restaurant, where the waitress recommended Rice Craving as a place to find good Filipino food. We went straight there. Had no idea what to get, but the staff was extremely helpful and friendly--made us feel good, talking to them. We got three dishes to take home. Even left over, the meal was very tasty. I don’t know if something has changed but it certainly did not live up to the reviews…

We had the pork and rice 2 meal combo that comes with rolls, and while the meat had good flavour, I could only manage to eat parts of it was so fatty and chewy. Maybe the chicken is better?

The garlic rice had virtually no seasoning, just lashes of garlic.

The portions were not overly generous, and they charged me almost $2.50 for an added egg.
