Himalayan indian cuisine — Restaurant in Clarence-Rockland

I saw a posting on Facebook about an Indian restaurant in Rockland and that really peaked my interest! I drive through Rockland often and I love Indian food, perfect...hopefully it's good. I tried it today and I have to say I am absolutely floored at the quality of the food offered. Hands down the best butter chicken and chicken curry I've ever had, no joke. Same with the naan...WTH man. I have tried many Indian restaurants but this one has set a new standard. The one portion of butter chicken, chicken curry, 2 rice, 3 naan feed 3 people at lunch and then enough left over for 4 people to have a nice snack. Please do yourself a favor and try this place out. I just ate all the sauce out of the bottoms of the containers...not ashamed either! I cannot wait to try...

Went there for lunch with my sister since there were great reviews on Facebook. She had the hungry man breakfast and I had the club sandwich with poutine. She asked for over hard for eggs and received over easy. My club didn't have any mayo like I asked and the fries are not great. There was shredded cheese not curds. As if our experience wasn't bad enough, my coleslaw had a black hair in it. They replaced it. AND THERE WAS ANOTHER BLACK HAIR in the replacement one! The owner was trying to tell me it was a spice so I dug it out for him and put it on a napkin and he was still trying to tell me it was a spice. You clearly need glasses! Will not be back to this...

Food was delicious and plentiful [the portions were much bigger than I expected]!!! Well worth it! The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I requested the Butter Chicken to be NOT spicy, and I ended up receiving spicy. Since I am intolerant to spice of any kind. I was unable to eat the Butter Chicken until the following day when I returned home from my vacation (upon getting home, I was able to add a medium sized carton of heavy whipping cream, which helped tone the spice way down). I ordered the Butter Chicken, with a side of rice and the garlic Naan. The Garlic Naan was delicious. I paid about $30 for everything. It fed 2 people for 2...
