I'm going to start the review off by saying that I'll definitely have to try it again. I may have had a one off situation judging by all the reviews.
I pulled up, and it seemed like my presence was an inconvenience. I ordered my food, paid for it and waited for my drink. Instead of just telling me he didn't register my drink he just picked up the receipt and pointed at it. He later said he remembered me asking but I guess didn't put it on the order. not a huge problem but found it odd.
The gravy on the poutine was delicious and the portion was generous but unfortunately the fries were not cooked. They were very starchy.
The Pogo was delicious and their homemade mustard was very good as well.
All in all I definitely want to come back and give them...
Read moreFirst off, I am so happy this chip truck reopened. It's been my favourite since moving here 10 years ago. I was sad to hear the old owners were selling but after today, I'm so happy they sold to this family. I bought a poutine and some popcorn chicken there this evening and all I can say is WOW. I loved how crispy the fries stayed, the cheese was awesome, and the sauce was great too.... and we all know sauce can ruin a poutine when not done right. Even my son said the same thing when he tried a few bites an hour after I had bought it (I'm a slow eater and was full from a medium!). We will definitely be back! It's been a very long time since I've had such a great poutine! I can't wait to go back...

Yum Yums stands as that humble reminder of what small town culture really is. It's real, humble, quality food served by real, humble, quality people. It brings back that unique charm which Rockland is rapidly losing.
We can't stop Rockland's growth, but we can at least help places like Yum Yums grow along with it.
