Wing House — Restaurant in Cobourg

My 1st experience there was pretty terrible it was several years ago. I did not stay for the food because the service was terrible. Imagine walking into a restaurant and they give you dirty looks like they don't want you there. Like a clear and audible pause and look of disgust. They were clearly trying to figure out who had to serve me and nobody wanted to do it. Imagine going to a place to eat and being treated like that before you even sit down.

My experience there today was incredible the food was amazing the service was incredible. I know exactly why people rave about this place.

I will definitely be coming back. Whether you want my money or not 😂 The lemon chicken ceasar salad was like nothing ive ever tasted. My son loved the burger with onions rings. The fries were perfect. Its was really good 👌

I was really impressed by the price too. For the price I expected a little bit burnt... a little soggy... a little tasting like the oil needed to be changed and the produce sat in the fridge too long like most places ive been to in Cobourg. Unfortunately I've come to expect to pay for food and feel ripped off but I felt like... I didnt pay enough for what I got.

Cobourg needs good restaurants to stick around and I hope you guys are open for many years to come.

We’ve been visiting the wing house for years and recently the overall experience has gone downhill. We have been ordering takeout more frequently for the last few months. At first we were told between 15-25 min for our wait time and it was always ready on time. The last month or two we’ve been told the same wait time but have been waiting close to an hour for just some wings and fries. Tonight when I picked up the order (about 30 min after calling to place the order), I was told it would be a few more minutes. and yet again it was another almost hour wait for 2 orders of wings. I expressed my feelings about the wait times (only because it’s been so frequent) to one of the staff and she was very rude about it and didn’t even apologize about the amount of time I waited for some wings. The food is usually pretty good but I’ve noticed a change is the quality of the wings. Sucks to see an old time favorite restaurant go...

We regularly visit the Wing House, but on our last visit, there were just us and a second table. We sat down, and rather than offer us a menu, our server decided to change the TV channel on all the TVs and mess with the volume to the point when she did come over to us, we couldn't hear her. The wings, as always, were excellent, and we paid the bill. As we were leaving, we noticed there was a small amount of HST on the bill, which appeared to be charged on the 2 beers and a coke. We asked our server why we were being charged HST during the HST holiday (which is the law), and her reply was "that's weird," and that was the end of the conversation. I appreciate it's only $3, but if we had asked her to pay it out of the 20% tip we left, she might have had more interest. We are just disappointed in the service which wasn't up to the...
