I ate here twice in the last week. I just wanted to make sure the service was a fluke before reviewing. It wasn’t.
The first time I went there we ordered and it took twenty minutes to get our order. This wasn’t because they were busy. They had given me the wrong drink and I asked them to remake it and fifteen minutes later I then got my food and drink. They explained that they had accidentally given my drink to drive thru and they took the food as well so they had to remake it. The food was good. Well made. We sat it the dining area, which was nice.
The second time I tried to order breakfast but they wouldn’t serve it because it was after breakfast. Personally I didn’t realize that there was an end of breakfast at Tim Hortons, but that was my mistake. The food was good, however there was slight confusion that could have been avoided by communication from the servers. They would just set the orders at the end of the counter without saying what they were. Anyone could have walked up and taken our food because of the lack of communication with customers. Even a simple “chicken bacon ranch wrap” would have been sufficient. This was quite comical because the same girl who wasn’t communicating with customers yelled at another employee about how he was a big boy and needed to communicate properly. I felt like this ‘food maker’ needed to work on her own communication skillset before criticizing another’s. Overall food was decent but the service left something...
Read moreI would leave ZERO stars, but it is not an option....I truly cannot understand how these employees keep their jobs. The service is TERRIBLE - not only do they ever have the order correct, no matter how simple it is, the staff are R U D E. They clearly do not enjoy, or are appreciative of their jobs. The supervisor today, Ruth, was so rude and angry and the cashier was completely ignorant of the order taking as well as zero manners. My colleagues and I work close by and have decided that we would rather driver to another Tim's to check it out...or there is a MCD's right next door to this location ----I think that is where we will spend our hard earned money...perhaps they are grateful to have jobs and want to keep them! Not sure if this is a corporate location or a franchisee.....but fair warning...sooner or later people get fed up and move on - don't be surprised if this location loses a lot of customers. Read moreI have given this location benefit of doubt time and time again yet they ALWAYS mess up my order EVERY SINGLE TIME. At some point it just becomes disrespectful of a customers time and money.
Every time I go I order 2 drinks both Steep tea’s. I watch the screen come up with the correct order and then usually 1 of them is a coffee and the other is a steep tea (usually has milk instead or cream… I even specify when ordering what I want in it)
But tonight a young miserable girl with absolutely no customer service skills hands me my drinks and I’m none the wiser, get home just to take a sip of coffee not only did they mess up 1 but they messed up both drinks.
Frustrated I go back and ask for a refund and the supervisor has no sympathy whatsoever. Great customer service :)
I have never made a big deal about my order being wrong before but this is the 3rd time in 2 weeks and I’ve only gone 3 times. I highly recommend driving the extra 3 minutes to one of the other locations in Cobourg unless you enjoy wasting your...
