I went to Kai Wing September 28, 2014 with my young family. I was s disappointed when they brought me the highchair for my 6 month old son to sit in. It was so un safe. The belt straps were knotted on to the clips so you could not adjust them, also there was no middle belt to stop a child from falling out of the seat. I asked the server "Do you have a safer highchair? this is the worst chair I have ever seen" and she sad she had one but it was not much better. And she was right it was no better. I will not return to this restaurant until I know they have a safer chair for my little one to sit in. Horrible!! I usually don’t leave a bad review but I could not finish my plate as the food was that bad. It’s unfortunate as the staff are so sweet but the quality of the food is horrendous. The lo mein had absolutely no flavour and was extremely dry, the chicken fried rice was extremely sloppy and was very wet, and the chicken balls were soggy and were covered in a very thick glutenous sauce that was unappetizing. I was unable to finish my plate as the whole dinner was tasteless, soggy, wet and made me feel sick to my stomach. I do not recommend this place! Save your money as this meal was not cheap!! Just passing through and grabbed some take out, I support local businesses as much as possible. The food quality was mediocre at best. Couldn’t eat the chicken balls . Sauce was almost like a pasta sauce on it . Rice was soggy and the spare ribs looked like they spared the meat was mostly all fat . The egg rolls were like a meat patty . I would not eat here again and felt i wasted money here for a meal. My expectations were low and realistically was probably one of the worst Chinese food meals i have encountered.
