Sunset Pub — Restaurant in Conway

I ate here on my last day working in Digby and wish I had known how good the food was, at the beginning of the week.

I got the bacon double cheeseburger. It came with the works, including fried onions. The patties were obviously hand made. Juicy and delicious. Tasted fresh. It was well constructed which made it pretty easy to eat, considering how big a burger it was. A burger like that usually falls apart mid way. Honestly one of the best cheeseburgers I've had in a long time. Completely didn't expect that quality to be honest.

I poutined my fries. The gravy was just to my liking. I don't think I've ever said this before, but the fries were so good, I almost wished I got them without the cheese or gravy. Truly awesome. Cooked perfectly. Potato cut. They have the option for a frozen style fry and you'd be crazy to choose that over these.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. You never know what you're gunna get from a pub like that. Our server was super nice and informative about future specials. I will absolutely be returning, the next time I find...

While on our honeymoon we had stopped here for a midnight snack. We had two experiences. The first , Though the kitchen was closed a man over heard we were on our honeymoon and offered to buy us a Shot. The bar tender offered us a Rock lobster and it became our tradition all the 6 days of our honeymoon to remember the two men Joshua and Nate who we connected well with. Our bartender was such a sweet heart! Our second experience again arriving for our Rock lobster, we had another server who seemed very sweet and had a gentle spirit. My husband and I enjoyed a meal at Sunset Pub in July 2024. The onion rings were the best we've ever had. The batter was light, and they were perfectly cooked. The fish was crispy, flavourful, and moist. The poutine was first of all made from what tasted like home made fries, the gravy was delicious, and it was loaded with curds. The service was excellent.
