I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered a bowl of soup and some bannock. Wow! A hearty bowl of the best beef (bison) noodle soup I have ever had! Full of meat not the typical oodles of noodles with just a hint of meat, no this soup was the opposite with heaps of meat with a small helping of noodles! And the bannock was so incredibly delicious it didn't need the butter and jam that it came with, but when the jam was an amalgam of three local Saskatchewan berries, well...., I just had to have some. The museum is hard to navigate nobody greets you and tells you where to go or what to do. The restaurant is filthy. Full of flies everywhere. Bins had flies buzzing around them and were overflowing. Read moreGreat hiking trails, a fun park for the kids with swings and slides. A small but intriguing museum, restroom facilities, and special events center. But the best part has to be the restaurant with its rustic menu items like Elk burgers and Bannock, hamburger soup, chicken tenders, fries and Saskatoon berry BBQ sauce just to name a few. There is lots to do and it's a great place to learn about indigenous history and culture while enjoying a great outdoors...
