Stopped at Thai Express on for a quick bite — should’ve kept driving. We had no expectations besides a high Google rating, but even that bar wasn’t met. We ordered the Thai coconut curry bowl, and unfortunately, it was a miss. The cook grabbed egg noodles from little pre-made baggies out back, which didn’t exactly scream “fresh.” The chicken was… awful — rubbery, oddly colored, and kind of translucent. Honestly, I’ve had better luck with McNuggets. The spring rolls simple yet sucked— mostly cabbage with a cameo from other ingredients.

To top it off, the cook went outside for a smoke break twice between customers — so maybe the food wasn’t the only thing that needed a little more heat.
