In the heart of small-town Quebec is one of the best breakfast restaurants that I've ever been to. I had a very simple "Simon" Omelette that was so filled with flavour that every bite was a "WOW!" experience. This perfectly cooked wonder was served with a side of toast (standard white or yummy brown bread) and a portion of the best baked beans I've ever tasted. The beans were tiny and firm and swam in a rich sauce that had a beautiful maple sweetness to it.
The place is cozy (they apply COVID precautions, don't worry) and has lively colours and artwork on the walls. Service was quick but unhurried, and friendly. The owner at the register was very pleasant and beamed so heartwarmingly as I heaped praise upon her and the chef for the breakfast they had made for us.
