3 Pines Bar & Grill — Restaurant in District Municipality of Muskoka

Extremely pretty and festive in the dining room. Seats approx 40 people. Service was efficient but nothing to write home about. It was fairly empty at 5:45pm on a Sunday evening but filled up quickly after that. The food was good. Burgers were kind of bland, but nice and big, fresh buns. The wings had a lot of breading but tasty. Garlic Parmesan fries were delicious. Mozzarella sticks were fat and cheesy w an excellent dill dipping sauce. Onion rings were absolutely amazing w a chipotle sauce. Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious as well. The biggest con would be the temperature of the dining room. Absolutely freezing. Now it was -18C outside; but there didn’t seem to be any heat in the room. We had to eat with our coats on. Would try again though. And they only opened on Friday; I’m sure they’re working...

Twice we have been in, but tonight, Saturday, August 23 was the very worst service ever. We sat there for ten minutes while the bartender/waitress was busy chatting and entertaining a couple of guys at the bar. We were not acknowledged at all and yes she did see us come in. We were the only other people in there except for the guys at the bar who seemed to be much important. Bottom line, we got up and left and went to Westside Fish and Chips where the SERVICE and food are always excellent. NEVER...

The dining room was absolutely freezing. So pretty and festive. Service was efficient but not anything to write home about. Food was good; but only a few things stood out; garpar fries, buffalo chicken wrap, mozzarella sticks and onion rings. The dill sauce for the mozzarella sticks was super yummy. Chicken wings were breaded heavily (which I love) and yummy too. Chipotle sauce for the onion rings was perfect. Burgers were a bit bland- big though- fresh buns too. But definitely needed...
