The Birches at Hidden Valley Resort had a decent breakfast experience overall. The breakfast price was $16.00, which felt fair for the setting. Most of the options available involved pork, which I do not eat, but the staff went out of their way to accommodate me by preparing fresh eggs which were fluffy and flavourful and even bringing out fresh turkey sausage. I really appreciated the care they took to ensure the sausage wasn’t touched with the same tongs as the bacon, it showed thoughtfulness and respect for dietary needs. That being said, I do hope in the future they consider expanding their menu to include more non-pork options. I understand pork is the cheapest meat, but having greater variety would make the experience more inclusive for all guests.

I love this restaurant because when you stay at this hotel, you don’t have to go anywhere in search of food. The menu, in principle, has not changed over the years, and this gives a sense of stability, knowing what you can count on. We tried almost everything on the menu; the portions are quite large. The pizza is large, and we always take a lot of food to our room. The service is very friendly. In general, we really like this place and the hotel and restaurant itself; we relax here every summer

Stayed here with my family. The food was very mixed -the large pretzels were phenomenal, the fish and chips were good 4/5, but this was hands down the worst Caesar salad I have ever eaten! It was also $15 which really upset me, especially when my daughter and husband’s food were much more reasonably priced and tastier than mine. It was also the size of a side, maybe a $5 salad-size. Will be complaining to our breakfast server tomorrow!

Good food! Ate breakfast and 2 dinners. Had the chicken Caesar 1st night, and my daughter had the chicken fingers. Both were done to perfection. 2nd night we both had burgers and again done to perfection, very tasty! Stacked high with bacon, cheese, onionrings, tomatoes. Our server for both dinners was Justin, he was very attentive. We had the breakfast buffet one morning, we did not have any other choice( no menu). A bit pricey but at least the food was good,...
