Absolutely NOT worth the money. I have tried some quality Chinese food in the past & this is definitely NOT that!!! I ordered delivery & spent $90 for 4 menu items. Beef chop Suey, which was not bad but only had 2 pieces of Bok Choy in a whole container. Sweet and sour pork, which like another post said was spongey & it just didn't taste very fresh or yummy at all. In fact, I was so unimpressed with it I should've returned it but I didn't. I just accepted the fact and will NEVER go back. Honey garlic ribs were good no complaints. Pork fried rice is pork fried rice not gonna judge that. Now I don't mind spending GOOD MONEY for GOOD FOOD. But the ONE MAJOR factor that PISSED ME RIGHT THE F* OFF ABOUT THIS PLACE was that they have the audacity to charge $17.79 per menu item... & When it shows up. It's in those TINY rectangular PLASTIC to go containers. Actually, another person posted them in their review.. take a look... THAT is absolutely Ridiculous!!!! It's not even packed in a traditional round tinfoil container with cardboard top. Which would hold about 2.5 times more food. So NOT ONLY was the food less than satisfactory, I ALSO felt extremely ripped off with the substantial shrinkflation that has taken effect. EXTREMELY UNIMPRESSED. THIS IS DEFINITELY HOW TO LOSE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD BE HAPPY RETURNING CUSTOMERS....
Read moreWoon Lee is the fourth Chinese restaurant that I’ve tried in North Van, on my quest to try all of the chineses on the north shore. Ultimately my partner and I came to the conclusion it came a close third in our current list. At every restaurant we order sweet and sour pork, and one or more of: chicken curry, chicken wings, fish. I only had one piece of the sweet and sour pork and it was good, probably my favourite of all 4 restaurants so far. Sauce was good, but more importantly the pork texture was good, not chewy at all. For the chicken curry, quantity of meats and size of the vegetables was a big plus for me. However, the downside of quantity meant less sauce (which might be what some people want) and I also found the chicken chewy. As a “texture eater”, this turned me off significantly. The chicken wings were good, a reasonable amount for the price and I appreciate that the garlic/onions etc were ‘wet’ vs some of the other restaurants which have done dried/crispy. Similar comments about the fish bites, however for me, I prefer larger chunks of fish and maybe a better fish:batter ratio. Both wings and fish were good reheated in the air fryer.
In summary, I wouldn’t be in a rush to return but also wouldn’t avoid it. For me personally I wouldn’t order the chicken curry again and would prefer to try...

It was for 4 people , We couldn't eat the food and I still have the food sitting in the fridge. I called them the next day but they said the owner is not there and will be there later. So I called later and talked to him , he was shouting at me on the phone that he is busy with customers and can't talk. ( meaning Im not a customer just because i complained) He said he will call back but he never did. So I decided to write this review . Food was not fresh , all of the 4 dishes had overwhelming bitter taste. Chicken was chewy and tasted bad . This was not our first time ordering but since 2 years ago . Every time we ordered there was some issues with the foods but we never said anything or never called them. The quality of food was disgustingly terrible. We will never order from New Woon...
