Blenz Coffee — Restaurant in District of North Vancouver

I didn't have a good experience with this Blenz location, but since they are relatively new, I would give them some time to settle down and figure things out.

I go to other Blenz locations quite often because of their chocolate specialty drinks. Though their recipe is probably the same throughout locations, I could tell there are slight difference in taste, depending on who makes it. I wanted to give this location a try. The atmosphere was really clean, and had a good vibe to it, but that was it.

I brought in my own mug to get 10 cents off & not use plastic cup, and the staff looked quite young. He got my order correctly and double-checked with my eyes on the screen, but the order that I got ended up in a plastic cup. Also, I wasn't sure if that was my drink so I was just waiting for an order in my mug. The staff peaked at it and realized that it was mine. I also noticed that the iced mocha was made with milk, not dark chocolate (what I ordered). I told the owner that it was not dark chocolate, but he insisted it was dark, so he ended up just pouring it into my own mug (wasting plastic cup with a wrong order). I know how my dark chocolate mocha tastes like, and I just couldn't believe that the owner insisted on what was not right. My friend also got a white hot chocolate, and she could tell that it was the less rich than the ones she had in other locations.

I hope the staff gets trained well, and they start making orders correctly soon. As a Blenz advocate, not impressed at all with this location. I would give it another try...

Third bad experience… but this one topped it off. It’s filthy, lots of open tables all were very dirty, plus the whole place was dirty, floors, counters at pickup area and behind in the barista area. We ordered Sandwich and cookie, we were the only ones waiting patiently for drinks yet they took forever, finally got one, waited patiently for the other …they had forgot about it and then when I did get it it was cold. The two individuals working there clearly were not happy to be there. And on the other days when I did get my drinks they were mediocre at best. On the behalf of a NGO we plan different events in Delbrook with many hosts. 27th July was the second time that, although I personally called in the morning for ordering 4 boxes of coffee and again confirmed the order afternoon for the same day, when I was there five min before the event, they told that I have not ordered for 4boxes of coffee.
