Aubier - Microbrasserie — Restaurant in Drummondville

The service was slow and the music was way too loud, for effing sakes it's a restaurant not a bar or nightclub, it should never be that loud. Also some of the workers, from the microbrewery side were drinking at the counter which was close to our table and they were loud. We paid over $200 for a meal and drinks for two and I shouldn't have to hear a bunch of loud guys who are spending way less than we did, throughout our supper. If I want to hear loud music and guys, I'll go at a bar. The food was ok. I had the Onglet Chimichurri which was good and cooked to perfection however the Chimichurri wasn't fresh and tasted and looked like grass. My husband had the 16oz ribeye steak at a whopping 54$ and it didn't include any sides, we had to spend and extra $9 dollars for grilled veggies. The steak was ordered medium-rare and it came rare with the fat not at all rendered. You can get an 18oz ribeye steak with seasonal veggies and your choice of potatoes at our favourite restaurant Boefish in Sherbrooke, which is by the way a very upscale restaurant with impeccable service, ambiance, food and drinks. We might try Aubier one more time, but if it's still loud and slow, we will not go back or recommend Aubier to any...

We were travelling back home and stopped over for a late lunch. Seeing on how we were off lunch schedule, we were told they were no longer serving lunch but they did have a snacks menu that we could order from.. that menu consisted of nachos, fries, etc. We found street parking and made our way to the brewery walking . Finding parking was not difficult, but there are limited spaces.. Inside is beautifully decorated as you can see with the hanging vines (not sure if they are real, although we hope they are). we were told that they sometimes host special shows at night and you can enter by paying a cover fee. The beers were delicious and so was the food, although the nachos took a little while to arrive and as you can see from the pictures, they are slightly overdone. We enjoyed our visit and would consider going back next time when they have the regular menu either...

What a gem! The beers are amazing! I specifically sampled beers that they have in cans to make sure I can take them home. The session and the 819 are top shelf brews. I came at the right time just before the brew master went for a run and got a few great details about the place and the beers. 10/10 would take a the stop for everyone driving by.
