I came to this restaurant for my mom's birthday this Wednesday and it was one of the WORST dining experiences. When I called to make the reservation, I made sure that I reserved the correct number of people (11), date, time and location of the restaurant with the woman on the phone, yet when everyone showed up, they said they didn't have a record of our reservation. They did end up having room for us, which was great. That being said, we showed up at 7:00pm and were not given our food until 9:00pm-9:45pm. When we did receive our food, it was all at different times (some people got their food at 9:00pm, whereas some people were waiting until 9:30pm), and some of our meals didn't even come out with fries (which was part of our order). Some of the dishes that did come out with fries, were given around maybe 10 fries, the waitress had to go back and ask the kitchen to make more because even she agreed that there were not enough. My mom ordered the Mexican burger which came out with chicken on it, so they quickly took it from her and switched the meat around. Our friend got the chicken souvlaki and it had a hair in it, gross! Our poor waitress was running to and from the kitchen and even started COOKING in the kitchen because the chefs did not know what they were doing. After all of this, we were not even offered any sort of compensation, and when we spoke to the manager the next day over the phone and told him about our experience, they said "Yeah, we heard. Sorry you had that experience. We can give you a free meal on your next visit." They clearly didn't care. The only reason I even gave a star is SOLELY for the waitress who did everything in her power to try to get our food out to us, she deserves a raise or a paid day off. In conclusion, we will not be coming back and supporting this restaurant, especially after management's response to...

Welcome to my review of the Tipsy Goose in Holland Landing. I honestly go for one drink. I eat the food and I socialize with the patrons staff is exceptional.everyone has their fav tendy. Mine is Tarlin. She’s always there with her smile makes you feel welcome. Makes you feel like you belong a lot of times you don’t get that in a bar.she prompt courteous and is a great front line worker to represent the establishment. The Bar may feel a little older but when you go to an ole English pub, nothing is new. The food menu is better than standard pub fair but I have to say it’s a little more than exceptional. it actually takes you a hot minute to look at the menu. There’s such a selection. It’s a little overwhelming, plus a new menu coming out in a couple weeks. I’ve had much much worse meals at other places, including another location in Holland Landing by another company. Lots of TVs every beer tap actually works. Washroom have been newly renovated, and they have quite quite a bit of activity going on throughout the week, including karaoke, some live bands, euchre, hockey, and football pools and a variety of other things. Perfect for locals that live in the area to be able to get away and experience little bit of pub life and if you’re coming from Newmarket Aurora Keswick Bradford it’s a nice change of pace from the big chain restaurants. Variety is actually the...

Today is June 16th 2025 I am new in the neighborhood. I enjoy the tipsy Goose. The staff is great, professional and kind. Today I was having three pints of beer. Behind me was a rude couple, mainly the woman of the couple. The bartender kindly walked over to that table and asked them. Would you like to order a drink because their food was taking a while. The elderly woman replied with no order FOOD!!!!!! I was wearing earbuds and I could still hear her rudely say the word food in capital letters. The bartender/server kindly replied with. Sorry your food is taking a little while. That customer was extremely rude to you folks. I just want to say I appreciate your service. You guys are fantastic. Five stars. You've always been kind to me. You've always been kind to others. I've observing around my environment in the bar/ restaurant pay No attention to that rude couple. Keep your head up. You guys are great! Have a great night. Great day! Great week! Look forward to...

This is a fun place to hangout, but if you like eating food the way you ordered it, this probably isn’t the place for you. I will share photos of what they gave me when I ordered a back bacon / pea meal sandwich with ONLY cheddar cheese. It was specified 3 times clearly, NO LETTUCE, NO TOMATO and ESPECIALLY NO MAYO!!!! The photo will show you how much they listened to the request. They are great people, but the servers really don’t pay attention. They have “other things” on their minds. If you go, just get drinks. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me, it’s just the first time I’ve had enough. I hate doing this, but hopefully this gets someone’s attention and the service improves.

Went here for dinner with my parents on a slow monday evening. We ordered some mozzarella sticks, a steak sandwich, a banquet burger, and a chicken quesadilla. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, was good quality, and had generous portioning. Service was excellent, and our server, Karen, was prompt and personable. We were very happy with the meal and intend on eating here again. The restaurant recently changed ownership, and the space was clean, well lit, and has been refurbished. It also had a patio, a very reasonably priced billiards table, and sometimes has live music for special events (new year’s eve, etc.).

Well. I like this place, they have a half decent patio. But when it looks like this who wants to eat amongst the bird droppings and dead plants?
