87 Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in Edmonton

This has always been our #1 for donairs in the area. We frequently orderded for pick-up and delivery. On today's date (2025-Aug-12), we ordered for delivery through DoorDash (for the 1st time, previously we used Skip) and approximately 40 minutes later we were advised that the restaurant could not fulfill our order and it was cancelled. There was no explanation offered. We will not be ordering from the new owners at 87 again. Good luck.

Consistently amazing food and customer service!!! My husband and I love supporting small, family owned businesses and this place is our new favorite! Tonight was our 4th time eating here and once again was an all-around great experience! Everytime we have visited, we are always greeted warmly by one of the owners. The donairs (beef, chicken and shawarma) are the best we have tasted in Edmonton! High quality meats, seasoned perfectly, fresh, crisp veggies, and tasty sauces! I had the chicken donair with garlic sauce and tzatziki sauce tonight and it was perfection! I'm already looking forward to my next...

I’ve been coming here for almost a year when the pandemic hit and we had a new baby. We were looking to support local and heard from an Instagram friend that this place is the best.

So we started going here and let me tell you, the food is outstanding, but the personal touches and the relationship you build with this beautiful small business the best bonus.

We started with donairs. Had an amazing experience and eventually, moved on to trying pizzas. They never skimp on the cheese and load up the toppings and the prices are super affordable considering how much they give you.

They do have wonderful deals and over time have thrown us a few extra deals (which I take as a perk to being loyal and frequent customer).

This is the kind of place that when you walk in, they know your name and ask how your kids are doing... If your baby is walking or talking yet or if your 7 year old passed their test.

I come for the incredible comfort food, but ultimately, I stay for the conversation, the rapport...

I've ordered from this restaurant a couple of times over a year ago and remember the food being really good. I remember ordering a cheeseburger, fries, chicken wings, and a chicken shawarma; all of which was very good. I went back a couple of days ago and must say I was not pleased. I ordered a chicken shawarma and a poutine; the vegetables in the shawarma seemed fresh but the chicken was so dry and bland; I ate a quarter of it and had to throw out the rest. The poutine had quite a few fries in it that weren't fully cooked the whole way through which was surprising as I remember really enjoying their fries. What was also really disappointing was the use of shredded cheese instead of the photo on the website site that shows cheese curds... I am a registered nurse and I love supporting local businesses. I think I will be back again but I will make sure to stay clear of the meals I purchased...
