Went here on a Saturday evening. The moment we walked in the door I was completely won over by.. what i would call, small town Alberta Charm. There was an Oilers v Flames hockey game showing on several televisions mounted conveniently in every direction. It only took about 30 seconds to get seated and start making some new, fun, buddies. We ordered a couple drinks which were prompt, stiff, and priced to move. Although we didnt order anything to eat, every table in the place had a pizza and an order of nachos which were both on special and smelled fantastic. Once the hockey game ended our attention turned to the high energy dance party the DJ had been cultivating on the dance floor. Once we reached the conclusion that we weren't really there for the dancing, our attention quickly settled on the 8 ti 10 VLTs located between the main bar and the washrooms. Here we spent a good portion of our visit as my partner was having a pretty decent streak of luck that would keep her playing the remainder of our visit. After about an hour spent waiting for a cab that never arrived, i jogged across the parking lot, picked up a bottle of my favorite new vodka, then called a yellow cab, which arrived within about 10 minutes.
We both had a great time, made some new buds, i found a new spot to drink where the levels of aggression from our fellow patrons was non-existent and fights seemed to be the last thing o everyones mind.
I just want to use the rest of my review to thank our fellow patrons. JTs staff, and of course my beautiful drinkin' partner for the hospitality, the friendly atmosphere, and your dedication to ensuring that everyone was safe, and enjoying themselves thoroughly. Your efforts were most appreciated, Thank you for everything
We had a great time and will...

Back story… my adult daughter chose JT’s for her birthday dinner location this year. Normally we choose more high end restaurants. I was at first appalled and tried to talk her out of it. It’s a bar. In a plaza, after all. I wanted to take her somewhere ‘nice’. She insisted on this place as she has heard many great things about JT’s food, she liked the menu and wanted something we could go ‘casual’ in. I was so disappointed. But then we arrived. You could feel the good vibes the second we walked in the door. Our server Jo walked up to our table like an old friend we hadn’t seen in years. So comfortable. So casual. We felt at home pretty quickly. 😊
Oh, and when I spoke with a coworker about it today, making fun of my daughter’s choice for birthday dinner anywhere, I tell him, “she chose a bar in a plaza just down the street from St. Clement” he INSTANTLY replied, “Ah, you mean JT’s?!?! I’ve been there a few times. GREAT CHOICE!! You’ll LOVE it!”...
Read moreIt’s very hard to give any stars after my numerous visits here. Only reason I come here is because of others and every time has been a dissatisfaction in some form or another, either it be poor service (IE one poor waitress working a 20 top while also serving smaller tables, to be extremely overwhelmed and ultimately to leave the food on the hot plate too long or to forget a portion of your order), getting undercooked wings and having to miss a day of work after, or having half of the tables order come out, half of that being cold, and to have the rest of it come out in nearly over twenty minutes on a Taco Tuesday, and the waitress to blame the cooks in the back while she was serving a table full of about 8 guys, on top of them serving beers all throughout their time there with our food sitting. Unless you’re at the bar or a larger table, you’re gonna be sitting down for a minimum one full hour. Sure we may get comp’d for it, but it should never happen in the first place. It’s hard to recommend or bring anyone here myself...
