Nicky's Place — Restaurant in Edwardsburgh/Cardinal

Please don’t advertise that u are open until 10pm if you won’t cook past 945pm because your staff has to finish their cleaning before going home! To me.... if you say you are open until 10pm this means you cook until 10pm not when the employees decide they are done cooking! A lot of business could be lost during the time you post you are open until and the time employees decide to call it a day. I guess they still get their pay until 10 so it really doesn’t matter to them but to the people whom this is their entire livelihood are losing out on business and employees are putting the return of repeat customers at risk.... they will find somewhere else to spend...

Visited on a Sunday morning for breakfast with a friend. Although we were there for less than an hour and had just received our meals after a 20-minute wait, we were abruptly told to go pay and make room for the “regulars” from the nearby Cardinal church. We hadn’t even finished our coffees. The treatment felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, the server’s tone came off as quite rude. As guests who were simply trying to enjoy a meal, we left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. Obviously, the server’s small town attitude is “If you are not from here, you are not welcome.” ...

We've ordered a number of pizzas from this place and we are always happy. I can't say it's my favorite pizza but it's not that far off. So dough balls with the cheese are amazing as well.

Probably not the greatest for calorie counting but I guess you can treat yourself every once in awhile.

I certainly recommend this place if you're on your way through, here for a hockey tournament during a day, or if you just haven't tried it before. We haven't eaten in but I've heard good things about the breakfast as well. We just...
