Really poor experience.

Understaffed, resulting in poor service.

Rather than closing down some tables and sections of the restaurant to help wait and kitchen staff manage, the whole restaurant remained open.

Ordered Heineken 0.0 alcohol and was served Heineken original.

5 people from our party ordered poutines, and 4 said their gravey was cold

Burgers served lukewarm.

When we pointed out, poitely, to the server, our food was cold, and she became frustrated, walked back to the bar, and threw the menus. As if we had annoyed her.

Had to ask for glasses for our drinks and then given dirty glasses.

The server seemed more interested in chatting with people she knew than doing her job.

I understand it was a difficult night for everyone working there, but it was poorly managed, and the wait staff seemed poorly trained on how to handle such situations.

We were given a staff discount on our meals which helped a bit but hopefully, this is just a one-off for other customer experiences, but we will not...

After our perfect tour at Little Foot Alpacas farm, we asked the owner there (Sean) if he could suggest somewhere that we could have lunch. And in we walked to this bar and grill.

We weren't 5 steps in before Jason greeted us from behind the bar with a huge smile and booming voice, like he'd known us forever. We loved him from that minute on.

It was a perfect weather day so he suggested we sit outside. Great suggestion -- the beach vibes were vibing!

We each had a burger. They were both absolutely delicious. Like literally the best burger I've ever had. (I had the mushroom swiss burger. My friend had what I think was called the bourbon burger.) The fries were also incredibly yummy.

We chatted with Jason on the way out to tell him how fabulous the food was and to tell him that his friendliness made our day. What a great guy.

I definitely want to try more of the menu....

I can’t speak for the food myself after an almost 2 hour wait we needed to leave and cancelled our order. Those that got their food said it was good. We had a party of over 30 people. Called ahead to make sure they could accept us and understood our timing needs. Told us they would be staffed up and ready. Service was slow from the start. Had to remind our waitress twice about our table’s drinks. Finally had a drink over an hour in. Others did get theirs in less time. At least they made the kids a priority. All the kids ate and half parents. I was in the half that wasn’t so lucky. The manager never looked in to ask how we were. He must have known and didn’t bother. Got in line at the bar to pay. No apologizes, no comped drinks. My recommendation, if you have more than 6 people or see the place is busy try to find another...
