Blend Bistro — Restaurant in Elkford

Serving staff was pleasantly attentive and efficient without being intrusive. Grilled chicken sando was probably the most perfectly cooked chicken sandwich I’ve had in my life…. And I’m old. I’ve heard the salad is amazing, but at this stage, fries all the way. Crispy, but tender. Like me. Naturally vinegar is my preferred condiment for French fries, and the white stuff did not disappoint. A dry Rosé from the okanagan complemented the juicy chicken. For dessert My son said the Ube Cheesecake was divine… however I need my potassium, so we shared the Turon & Ice cream dessert special. Featuring fried bananas, brown sugar rolls, caramel sauce on the iced cream and sesame seeds ( toasted in-house ). Nicely presented and frickin delicious… if however they could offer a flambé option I would have gone for it!! Kudos to the Bistro crew....

I found very cute and neat cafe in Elkford! We are from Vancouver about a week ago. I didn’t see any cafe around here so far, so finally I found the one! and server lady is super friendly:) I just ordered one decaf latte (small size), and one muffin for my daughter. But it cost more than $8! A bit over price? I haven’t had anything like this price in Vancouver... maybe we have been to Starbucks all the time in Vancouver? I don't just pick any place lightly. I put hear and soul into looking for just the independent local establishment everywhere I go.

The Americano coffee, sure any chain can grind a bean. BUT this place has a more flavourful and smooth balanced coffee than most anywhere I've been.

Their cheesecake. Worth every penny and drop of drool!! Good portion size as well.

The QUALITY OVER ALL is worth every cent. If we still had pennies that is.

I liked their product so much, I don't just trust you with my coffee.... I trust you...
