I am a bit confused about the terrible reviews on here - it doesn't even seem like the same place we just went. We stopped in on our way home from a hike in Lantz because of the name alone (Pete'za Perfect? Amazing!) The one staff member saw us looking at the slices and recommended we wait 5 minutes as he was making a fresh one. Best decision ever. For $4.50, we got the biggest slice of pizza - I could not have eaten one on my own! We both agree it's the best pizza we have had in a long time. Crust is crispy and sauce is perfect! We literally don't have a single decent pizza place near us - would definitely drive back from Beaver Bank for this pizza!

We ordered a small super donair, garlic fingers with bacon and the suggested garlic bites. The super donair was awesome and the garlic fingers very good. The garlic bites had some Parmesan cheese on them with donair sauce for dipping and were so good and you get lots. The prices are spot on too. If I lived near by I would be eating here on a regular basis. We were chatting with the owner who sounds like a pretty good guy. Update: We stopped by again on another visit and placed a large order for takeout and everything was correct. Great donairs and excellent clams. This will be our go to place for clams when in the area.

They definitely don't skimp on the toppings! We were staying nearby at a B&B and not much else was open in the winter months. Mom and Pop place with a few seats if you choose to dine in. Food was a little above average but the workers/owners were extremely friendly. Love the cheese bread but not a huge fan of the donair sauce. To each their own :P

We used to be regulars here. Food was always decent. However, after the service we recieved from what I assume would be the owner or manager this evening we will never again order from pete'za perfect.

We ordered 40 pieces of chicken wings and we were told the wait would be an hour. After 2 hours our food showed up and was lukewarm and soggy and coated in sauce despite ordering sauce on the side. The total for the order was over $60.

We ordered wings from them regularly and we have never had any issues with food quality or service. In fact, the service prior to this had been stellar which is why this whole situation is so shocking.

When I called to inform them that I wasn't happy with the wait or the quality of the food, the person on the phone simply said "I'm sorry." After an awkward moment of silence, she handed me off to the person who made our food. While holding the phone away from her mouth she said "there's someone on the phone, they're mad" which wasn't accurate at all. I was very courteous when speaking on the phone throughout the entire call.

When the person in charge picked up the phone, there was a loud, passive aggressive "The food couldn't be cold, there's no way" to someone else into the receiver before having a conversation with me. He proceeded to tell me that there is no way the food could be cold, didn't offer an apology or anything close to it, and offered to replace them. Which is a fair offer, however, after waiting over two hours for my order, that wasn't something I was willing to do and ended the call with "I have been ordering from Jessy's lately and will continue to do so"

Well. He didn't like that.

I drove back to the store for a refund. My girlfriend went into the store to get the refund and while in there, the person was rude, aggressive, and having temper tantrum over returning the wings.

After working in the restaurant industry for over a decade, I can safely say that this is the absolute worst way to handle customer complaints. Making customers feel unwelcome, embarrassed and belittled is not the approach to take. My girlfriend and I felt awkward and made to feel like terrible people for having an issue with the wait and quality of food. The glares and dirty looks from the cashier certainly didn't help the situation.

Knowing the service they had prior to this made the entire situation jarring and uncomfortable and after receiving our refund for the $60/2 hour wings, we have decided that the way we were both treated in response to our concern was unacceptable and we will definitely not...

We’re new to the area and I love pizza. This place and another were recommended. We tried the other place first, since it was impossible to get through on the phone here. Finally, I went in to the store to give it a try. The pizza here is definitely better than the other place but it was not the best. It was just ok for me. The pepperoni is more like salami, not real pepperoni. I gave 2 stars because this place is so busy and popular that one is often waiting over an hour for their order. They definitely need to step up their efficiency. Example, have a cash register that will add up the order but instead the lady had to write it down then go over and manually add it up. Additionally, there was no menu visible. You have to wait in line just to ask for a menu, which are kept behind the barrier. I did suggest taping it to a wall, or window but this suggestion was not well received. Clearly, customer service was not great. They could benefit having an online ordering system because they are so busy and add another person to take orders to speed up service. Maybe they are trying to keep the old school thing but I’m not in a rush to go back. It’s 2022, times are changing and we need to adjust to some degree. That’s just life. I don’t want to wait that long for my food, not worth it. It’s definitely a small town, small minded business that has a strong regular clientele so, I’m sure my thoughts will...

We were at Halifax Airport waiting for our flight and the airport restaurants were closed. We called Pete'za recommended from a local. We placed our pizza order and he said it would be an hour wait and he assured us he would deliver it to the airport. It seemed like a long wait but our flight wasn't departing any time soon. We waited an hour and nothing. We waited another 15 minutes and decided to call them for an update. No one answered and no pizza. We waited and no pizza. Wow. This is the first time this has ever happened to us. We were left starving at the airport. Thanks to no-repete'za business. If I could give them zero stars it would be perfect. Call their competition Maintown Pizza if you are hungry...
