Aroma Maya Coffee & Donuts Enfield — Restaurant in Enfield

Great coffee and decent donuts at okay price, oh and vegan options available! The interior is chic. I had to give it 3 stars cuz I had the worst experience bringing a dog. I was so excited to check it out after my dog walk. I tied the dog outside and ran in to order a take-out. As I was waiting for my coffee I noticed the neighbor lady outside was filming my dog and looked angry so I ran out and asked what’s the matter. She said the post I tied my dog onto is her post and ‘it’s bad for the post’ and also ‘not nice for the dog’... I explained that it will be just a minute and my dog wouldn’t mind it outside as it was great weather. She again picked her phone up and started to film me and my baby and my dog... Long story short I left immediately juggling my coffee, donut, baby carrier, my purse and the dog leash.. my dog went for the coffee and my baby went for thé donut and I was left with neither. Will not return (at least not with my dog) until you have a dog-friendly policy or a less nosy neighbour. Sorry for the rant. I really had great expectations...

After finding out that there is no Starbucks in PEI followed with 3 hours of driving, my travel companion demands a good cup of coffee so I resort to Google map for some recommendations and found Aroma Maya in the area (we have a flight to catch later so we don’t want to venture too far away).

Originally came for just coffee but can’t say No to the very good looking donuts so we decided on the cookie dough after much consideration 🍩 (that said, I still think that blue cotton candy donut looked better for pictures but my companion disagrees.)

Do not regret making this choice because the donut is delicious. Fresh, puffy, yum 😋 just go for it, you can splurge on those calories 🤩

Coffee does take sometime to prepare but they are worth the wait! It’s a place to chill and not for times when you are in a hurry - this is the Maritimes, take things...

Wow. One of—if not the—best cafes in Halifax and possibly all of Nova Scotia.

Here’s what we tried:

Ube Latte: Smooth and balanced. Sweet but not overpowering—perfectly complemented the coffee.

Mango Coconut Donut: Light, refreshing, and flavorful. More coconut-forward with a subtle mango note.

Moon Mist Donut: 20/10. Tastes exactly like moon mist ice cream in donut form—like taking a cold lick of nostalgia.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bagel with Strawberry Cream Cheese: Bagel was fluffy and delicious. If you like it crispy, ask for a double toast—the first toast just warms it. But that cream cheese? Incredible. Light, fruity, and full of fresh strawberry flavour.
