Mei's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Esterhazy

Walked in at 7.55pm on a Monday after being told by a local they were open until 9... Turns out on Mondays they close at 8. Not to worry... Friendly and helpful, they made me my dinner for take out without any fuss at all.

Got back to my hotel and burned my tongue on the veggies they were so fresh. Chicken balls and veal were some of the best I have had and the fried rice was excellent.

Definitely recommend if you find yourself in Esterhazy and are wondering what will be for...

My mom comes down to Esterhazy to come see my great grandmother in a senior's home often and started coming on a recommendation. When she comes home with the left overs, it always tastes so good for being hours old. So I came down with her and dad and got to experience it first hand. Oh my god this is the BEST Chinese food I have ever had. No wonder mom and dad sing high praises...

Very disappointed.. raw chicken balls soggy stale veggies lemon chicken undercooked chicken fried rice undercooked.. $120 down the drain only thing good was spring rolls l. 2nd time for terrible food and when contacting to discuss the issue started to argue...
