Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Estevan

After discovering that most restaurants in town were closed by 10 p.m., we ended up at the local Boston Pizza this past Friday evening. We arrived at 10:13 p.m. and placed a to-go order: one medium vegan cheese Mediterranean pizza (which we discussed more than once to be sure), pickle spears, and one fettuccine pasta, and fries. Four simple items.

Unfortunately, the pizza arrived topped with feta cheese (which is not vegan) and the crust was undercooked. All of the dipping sauces we received were wrong, and while we normally would have checked the pizza before leaving, we had been waiting so long that we were too hungry to delay any further.The pickle spears and pasta were fine, but the order took far longer than expected—we finally received our food at 11:08 p.m.

My wife and I stopped on our vacation to the Estevan Boston Pizza. I have always enjoyed Boston Pizza. Generally the food and selection of items is good. Today was probably my best experience at a Boston Pizza I can remember. Our server was kind, polite and helpful. The restaurant, although over lunch time, was not too busy. The tables and floor were clean and neat. My wife ordered the Royal Hawaiian Pizza. I ordered the Hungry Carnivore Penne Pasta dish. This pasta dish was done to perfection. The Penne was cooked perfectly the flavor was amazing and it was loaded with meat. It was more than enough for one person. Even the garlic cheese bread served with my pasta was fantastic. Their fish tacos are always tasty no matter which restaurant you go to. The 1st person I spoke to could use training on how to.midigate rish when taking orders ie: I had to ask if she could repeat the order & had to ask for the total. Their should be a process with taking orders that is step by step, which is used by alot of businesses and could be new staff or just not trained with these things in mind either way she was receptive when I brought it up and was pleasant non the less I ended up no getting exactly what I ordered which is what it is, I called to let them know she qasnt to caring said I did get a side regardless and was no urgency to fix it or offer a gesture to apologize which is what it is but would have been nice All around experience was average as compared to...
