Fired Up Grill — Restaurant in Estevan

Well its been 4 years since I was in estevan to injoy the Sunday afternoon brunch . Service was slack, and the girls seemed to be put out if you asked them for some thing extra. A big mistake they have made is not allowing people to order off the menu at this time. I say at least 3 tables that at least one or 2 people did not order because they could not order off the menu. So thats a lose of sale. Food was good, but the dessert was far lacking! With little choice and poor refilling, when it was empty. Too bad this use to be the place to beat. Not anymore, there charging a premium so I expect far better. They better pull up there scocks, because people will just go elsewhere... And they have stiff competition just...

Seems to be hit and miss at this restaurant. The Greek Salad was fantastic! The Crab and Carrot soup was delicious. Hot turkey sandwich and spinach dip were mediocre. The fettuccine Alfredo was under seasoned and near inedible. Our server was pleasant but inaccurate with our order. Portion sizes were generous. All in all a merely average experience. When I asked them if there was something they could do about the uneaten fettuccine dinner she replied “I will take 10% off.” I said thank you, believing that it was going to be ten percent off our total bill. Ended up in Estevan for the evening and needed a place to eat. Saw this place had a good rep so thought we'd try it out. We were helped and seated right away, asked us if we wanted the buffet or a menu and being indecisive decided to look at the menu first. Ended up ordering off the menu and are we happy we did. The top serloin was some of the best we've ever had. The spinach dip was incredible (and we have spin dip ALOT). The seafood fettuccine was good too. Service was really great and friendly.
