I had been there previously and while the food was ok and the facility beautiful and unique, the atmosphere was horrible. The steak was also very salty, so, as someone with hypertension, I knew I wouldn't order that again. You could hear the chef screaming expletives at his co-workers, and we also witnessed the manager bullying the wait staff. We ate our food and left. These were not isolated incidents as I heard the same "Great idea, poor execution" opinion from other people in our area. Then we heard that the chef had left, so we went back. Food much improved, but the tension among the wait staff was palpable. This distracts from the meal a great deal. I had even heard reports of customers being bullied by the manager. Too bad, I liked the concept of a high-end restaurant in the community. I wouldn't go to an McDonald's with that atmosphere, let alone a high end restaurant. Recently I heard that there had been a change in management of the wait staff, so we eagerly went back. What a difference! Our server did not look like she was about to jump out of her skin, and was very relaxed yet efficient. I even got brave and ordered the steak which was cooked perfectly. Many people in the community had avoided this place because of the problems in the kitchen and the dining area, but we will be back, and encourage others to do so. It took a couple years, but I am glad they got it sorted out. Looking forward to our next dining experience at On...

A new restaurant to the area. Not much information was given to us, we relied mostly on heresay from the community. We think it's locally owned. By the looks of things, it appeared to have locally crafted products such as homemade jams/jellies for sale. I think they should offer a write up with the business owners information in it with a brief explanation of their model and goals as a small business in a small town and the history of the building/town. The food was mediocre, I ordered the egg tortiere and my friend ordered the breakfast. She didn't eat her sausage. The server wasn't great as we had to ask for butter and then ketchup. It was not busy. The ambiance isn't great considering its a newer build and could have offered more private settings with some atmosphere between the tables rather than a large dining hall with as many table stuffed in it as possible. The servers wearing masks really takes away from the experience as I don't enjoy being served by a masked person. Are they our waitress? Or a burglar? Kind of ridiculous. Prices were a little above average, and we couldn't figure out for what reason they charged so much, except for status. Overall, an average experience. Better than McDonalds and Pizza Delight, but still a ways to go. Hopefully they are able to survive in...

The food is phenomenal. But be prepared to wait incredibly long to get your food. 25 minutes for drinks to arrive. An hour and 20 minutes before first appetizer came out. an hour and 30 before my child got her butter noodles. Although they did explain that things would be staggered "differently" because of the '5 course' option my wife chose, it's still no excuse for being there for over 2 hours before our main dishes came out. The manager did try to make excuses for the length of the wait, but that doesn't excuse them for water glasses being empty for a half hour AND NO WORD FROM ANYONE unless we stopped them to ask. Food quality is excellent. Time management is obviously extremely flawed. Not recognizing that there is a 2 year old at the table and that an hour and a half to put a bowl of plain noodles in front of her isn't even remotely ok, is really...

Possibly the province’s best restaurant (though of course I haven’t been everywhere 🙂). The venue is comfortably elegant, the service is friendly and attentive, but the food absolutely steals the show. Complex flavours and techniques are perfectly balanced and executed in a way that qualifies as fine dining while still showcasing local ingredients/cuisine. Pictured are the lemon-pea agnolotti, the mushroom risotto, and the crème brûlée - all were flawlessly prepared and tasted outstanding. Others at the table ordered a charcuterie board (local meats and smoked fish) and a cut-with-a-butter-knife steak that I tried and was VERY impressed with. (And if you’re a fan of mixed drinks, try the seasonal cocktail, because it’s amazing whatever the season!)

This just might be the best kept secret in all of NB! Absolutely love everything about this place: the food is prepared with care and quality ingredients, gorgeous presentation, amazing cocktails, stunning dining area, patio, and view of the covered bridge and boardwalk, SUPER friendly staff, and reasonable prices! Despite it being a 3-hour roundtrip for us, we've gone multiple times and always walk away feeling uplifted and overjoyed! Thank you so much!
