Central Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Erie

Central Pizza used to make fantastic pizza and wings, now I will only recommend them for wings. Ever since the current person in the kitchen started making pizza it's become an embarrassment.

The dough is frequently too thick to cook properly and I've gotten a mouthful of almost raw dough on more than one occasion. The toppings are located under the cheese, which causes everything to slide off the slice when you try to pick it up. By being named "toppings" they, by definition, go on top of the pizza. They are also way too heavy handed on the cheese, causing the whole pie to be a greasy and disgusting mess that more often than not upsets your stomach.

In order to get a regular pizza out of this place now you have to special order it and basically teach the cook how to make a pizza.

The chicken wings are fantastic and you can't go wrong with them, but avoid Central Pizzeria if you want a pizza you will enjoy. I plan on visiting them soon to find out how much their sales have dropped since they started making pizza like this, and to advise them that they should remove the word "pizzeria" from their name and sign.

Word of mouth is key in small towns like Fort Erie, and for the last few years the words out of my mouth have been Central has forgotten how to make pizza and I share that opinion with...

I get take out often in Fort Erie, and while I have never had an issue with the pizza (it’s OKAY) every single time I get subs from here my family and I all get sick. I get once, twice, maybe three times but what are the odds my family gets sick the 4th time only in the last two years when we order subs specifically from this place. I often go to subculture, barrel etc and get the same submarines, even papa Steve’s in ridgeway prior to shutdown and no issues. Everytime my family orders subs from here we end up violently vomiting and sick. Sorry to be so blunt and in detail here but something is not right. We won’t be ordering again to say at the least, at the most you guys need some inspections done. Whether your serving bad meat, not washing toppings such as lettuce or just not practicing proper sanitation something is going on. Only restaurant that my family gets sick every single time we have ordered in 1-2 years....

Horrible Customer Service!!! For a place that we love and order from all the time, grew up in fort Erie I couldn’t believe the customer service- “the manager” hung up on me twice! I had a big order 7 ham subs ! BIG FAMILY All had different toppings ofcourse so it obviously wouldn’t be the easiest kept angrily interrupting when asked to listen to each sub order says she didn’t have enough room on her paper to write them all down shouts goodbye and hung up I call back to ask for a manager or someone else to take the order she starts yelling again and hung up I couldn’t even make out what she said ? You want the best pizza and subs in town GO TO THE BARREL - should of done that...
