Had a pretty awful experience at my local Tim Horton’s today. I had been craving a turkey melt all day for some reason and I was super excited to go get one. When I pulled up to the drive thru I also decided I wanted a strawberry frozen lemonade because I hadn’t had one in ages.
I placed my order and it clearly read back on the screen as a “Turkey melt” and a “medium strawberry frozen lemonade”. It cost me $11. I pulled up to get my food and drink once it was my turn and to my surprise, my frozen lemonade looked odd. It almost looked like it was creamy, so I just assumed they messed the drink up and made a creamy chill or something instead. I received my sandwich and the lady who handed me my sandwich clearly said “and here’s your Turkey melt, have a great day”. I pulled away and drove home.
Upon getting home, I opened up my “Turkey melt” to see it was in fact not Turkey, but roast beef. And I drank a good portion of my lemonade, noticing a very clearly “creamy” taste to it, but with the texture of a frozen lemonade. I decided to let it sit and see what happened.. I’ll just show you the rest with photos. Disappointed doesn’t even begin...
Read moreGreat Service but I think depends also with the costumers they're serving. When a customers are being lunatic entitled, do you think they will serve us with smile? I'm a costumer as well but the saying " Costumers always right " I don't think so! Like for example these couple, they want to use coupon but there's a certain rules using coupons. The employee already explained but just to make sure she called her supervisor/manager. And these two entitled customers still wants to talk to the owner and wants to get the employee's name and they want her fired! Like for real? Because they didn't get their way? I think these couple wants to get their coffee and donuts for free for the rest of their pathetic life! I feel sorry for the girl. Supervisors and Managers stand up for your crew. And to ALL customers, if you're having a bad day, stay home! Do not take your frustration to people who's only doing their job. They do not make the rules or policy. Be KIND. You do not know what people are...
Read moreThe manager knew what she was doing, but no one else did... Seemed like they were all new, she had to stop and tell all of them what to do, repeatedly, which caused a hold up as a line of people gathered, waiting for someone to come back to the cash, while machines needed tending to, and the drive-thru continued.
My biggest complaint is not specific to this location, but the way all Tim Hortons now have these big TV screens, where most of the time you cannot see the menu items that you are interested in, because they flick away to other screens before you've had a chance to process the information. And then they take it all down so that they can show you an advertisement. It's ridiculous, I've talked to other people, everyone just wants basic menus back that you can peruse as you stand in line, And not have to try to remember what's on four different screens as you think about what you want. It's also very unclear how the combos work, whether that will save you money, and which options...
