Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Fort Qu'Appelle

This place is way better than all the dqs in Regina including the owners other location on elphinstone. The people here know how to make a blizzard and burger. I order the mushroom Swiss and there's a nice amount of mushrooms. If I order it at the elphinstone I get 2 mushrooms and a drop of sauce and usually the meal has been sitting on the warmer till it's a dried up mess. The fort quappelle location is always perfect. I order the choco Blizzard and it's always mixed thoroughly and has plenty of fudge. The elphinstone location tends to make it with so little chocolate it might as well be Oreo because that's what it looks like. So in conclusion 2 thumbs up for fort quappelle and 2 thumbs down for Regina elphinstone. Only downside to the quappelle location is the terrible hand dryer in the bathroom lol its good as a hand warmer but does nothing...

I would give a 5 star if it weren’t for the night shift employees. They are heard to understand and don’t understand you. I asked for a cheeseburger with mayo and received a cheeseburger with mushrooms?? They take forever to make my order and typically forget an item or two. (Or just miss it completely). I may also add that they’re the worst with cross contamination. My strawberry milkshake had peanut and chocolate. PEANUTS AND CHOCOLATE. This Dairy Queen lacks in a few aspects. While the food is well prepared, it lacks gold customer service. When our order was screwed up, they argued it wasn't before charging for the fix and giving us the right food. In a respectable place, I'd expect them to take the hit and give us the right meal at the cheaper price.

In addition, the bathroom (at least the men's) is poor. It lacks paper towel and the air dryer is about as efficient as your own breath.

The only reason to stop here, in my opinion, is if your on the highway and need a quick bite to eat. Even then, perhaps try the other places in the same...
