Absolutely Horrible Experience — Especially From the Manager
We came in with a mushroom food allergy and clearly communicated it to our server. We ordered the lasagna and explicitly confirmed with the waitress that it did not contain mushrooms. We were assured it did not contain mushrooms. When the lasagna arrived, after eating a couple spoonfuls, we discovered it was full of mushrooms in the meat sauce.
When we raised this serious issue, the manager came over and was shockingly rude and dismissive. Not only did she show zero concern or empathy about a potential allergic reaction, but she also removed our waitress (blaming it in her being new) and left us with no server for the rest of the night—no water refills, no follow-up, nothing.
Instead of a proper replacement meal, they brought out a tiny portion of dry ribs. Worst of all, they had the audacity to charge us for the lasagna we didn’t even eat—the server took it back to the kitchen!
The way the manager handled this situation was unprofessional, careless, and honestly infuriating. If you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or expect even basic customer service—do yourself a favor and avoid this place completely. This restaurant not only fails at food safety, they fail at basic human decency.
See picture showing proof of mushrooms in lasagna. I'd hate for the manager to reply with 'false accusations' like I see they did on...
Read moreI have eaten here many times and it has always been great. But this was not the case this time. I order the greek pork souvlaki, I have had this many times. The pork didn't taste right now I don't think the pork was sour but it was not the same as last time. Amanda came over to ask how everything was ok and I said that the pork tasted funny. She said oh I am sorry and said she would take it off the bill and just change me for the salad. I was fine with that. 5 minutes later this man came to the table and said that the pork was not sour and that he swears on his Father's grave. He told me that it comes pre marinated so that what it is. He asked to make some shrimp instead I told him no. He left the pork on the table and left. Amanda came over to the table and she apologized she was so incredibly embarrassed and said I am so sorry. I have ran a cafe and there is 1 thing that is a golden rule in any customer industry. No matter what the customer is always right, even if you think they are not. I didn't finish my pork I wrapped it in my napkin and we went to pay. (I had to pay the full price not the side salad like the server said) (Sorry Amanda) The greek salad and the carrots were amazing. Will not ordered that again cause the pre marinated pork...
Read moreLets start with the positives. The pizza which they are clearly known for was phenomenal… and it should have been considering I paid $30 for a ‘10 2 topper. The service was abhorrent. When I entered, a server said she would be right with me after I asked about food. What appeared to be the supervisor then approached me and asked if I had been served, I said no. He then promptly walked away and started serving someone else right next to me, which I found comical.
The server then finally served me a nice cold beer. I then asked for a menu as I noticed she was walking off. She passive aggressively snapped at me and said it would be one second. Why she couldn’t do that when grabbing the beer, who knows. It did not seem particularly busy.
Lastly, I caught second hand embarrassment watching the supervisor eventually fold after attempting to cut off a highly intoxicated male. After the male had pestered him enough and made everyone a bit uncomfortable, he served him another double drink. However, to his credit, it was heavily watered down with extra ice.
I want to say I will never be back but this seems to be the only spot that serves past 10pm on most nights so beggars cant be choosers, I enjoyed my beers and pizza...
