The Wolfe Island Pub & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Frontenac Islands

There are very less number of restaurants which I rate 5/5 and this is one of them. The restaurant is always full of locals who know each other. Very friendly atmosphere here. The domestic beer here is 4.5 dollars and imported is 5.5 which is super cheap. Food here is great. I went in and I ordered off the menu but I didn’t see the specials board. The special was roast beef and mashed potatoes for the day at $12.50. I had the Philadelphia cheese steak(12 inch for $12.99) which was out of this world and my friend ordered stuffed calzone with chicken($8). The total bill was 21.5. I have never seen a restaurant so cheap and such good quality food in Canada and I’ve been around. Hats off to Wolfe island pub and pizzeria. Great service, amazing prices and friendly ambience. Just love this.

Came here the second time. They took off calzones and philly steak sandwich from the menu 😓 I asked the server why they removed it and she said that they cut down the menu because of covid. The burger was oily and had too many things in it. Served as a salad and a burger with exactly the same contents would be fine. There is no point going on how great the meat is if it is overpowered by a bunch of other things. Couldn't actually taste the meat although it was a great sized portion. Fries were bland, soggy and tasteless bordering on cold. Made from potatoes but were not well prepared and hence heavy and dull. Portobello mushroom burger had good flavor. Staff were almost annoyed with actually talking,no to customers and gave impression they were too busy to spend a moment anywhere and seemed disinterested in ensuring the meal was okay. Our group of 4 stopped in to have dinner at the WIPP after a short ferry ride over from Kingston. The restaurant was clean , the menu was small but had alot of meal choices, our food tasted fresh and hot. The server was attentive. The price of our meals was adequate to the portion. A very nice restaurant , When we left we forgot a purse at the restaurant , once we were across. To Kingston on the ferry , we realized and quickly called the wipp .
