*Updated review:
I have visited this Swiss Chalet location on 2 separate occasions since my original review was posted. I normally wouldn't make such a drastic change to my original post but it has to be done!
We (my friends and family) had absolutely terrible experiences since my first visit to the restaurant. On my first visit, we had Kaitlyn who was an absolutely wonderful server. These two more recent visits we had other waitresses who were horrendous! On our last visit, it was more of a lack of organization and friendliness that we experienced - we tried to let it pass because everyone has a bad day and it was very busy.
But today took the cake! It wasn't too busy and we got seated right away. After only moments of getting our babies seated in their high chairs, a random waitress approached me so aggressively and very rudely began telling me to move my baby's high chair out of the way. I didn't even place it in that position at the table but apparently my baby was causing a fire hazard. She was so unnecessarily rude and I don't know if it was a race thing (as my baby and I are not caucasian) but she approached me with so much distaste.
Then, we met our waitress. With her large, bold, tortoise trimmed glasses, she was very unfriendly at the get-go and throughout service. My friends and I were nothing but pleasant during the entire meal but we didn't receive the same back. Our waitress never checked on us and when she did take our orders, never smiled once and gave us the impression she was judging us for having our babies with us (a really weird and unwelcomed vibe). We asked for a kids meal to be split between our two babies they cannot eat alot, and we also asked if the kids meal could be split between the two bills for convenience, and she said yes. When the bill came, she didn't do it and said "you should've told me before.. I can't do it now it's too late, you'll have to figure it out amongst yourselves". It wasn't a big deal but she certainly pointed blame quite quickly.
We waited 45 minutes for our group's meal. My chicken parmesan with penne pasta came out terrible! My chicken parm was baked too long and had a hard, blackened coat and my penne was literally ice cold! I don't know what the kitchen did but I went to put some of my pasta on my baby's plate, I was shocked by how cold it was! Especially given that all 4 other dishes were hot enough that they had to blow on it so we could serve a portion to our babies. We were missing 2 sets of cutlery and despite asking for it prior to our food coming, it never came. Two persons in our party ultimately used their hands as our waitress was never in sight not did she check in on us.
We soon asked for the bills and a small box to take home the leftovers. Our waitress brought the bills and there was some sort of connection error when my friend fried to pay with the credit card machine. The waitress said "hold on, let me bring it back to the kitchen to check" and a few moments later gave me my bill without referencing whether my friend's credit card payment went through. When she came back to our table to ensure my payment went through, my friend asked if her payment was successful and the waitress replied, "yeah I already gave you the bill.. what? No you paid" and walked away. We asked for the take out box again but nothing. And we left, she very rudely said "bye", with attitude. This is the last time we visit this location and will be sure to tell others of our experience! Terrible and so unwelcoming! Google won't let me write more unfortunately.

Absolutely fantastic service! We came on a busy Saturday night and although there was a little bit of a wait (understandably so for a weekend night), the hostess was sure to keep us abreast of how much longer we'd have to wait. And our waitress, Kaitlyn, was amazing! Despite having to deal with a large table of 20 guests, she was attentive to my smaller table of 5 persons. She checked on us regularly and also ensured to have a quick chat with my young child to make her...
Read moreWent yesterday for lunch, with my mother and sister and my nephews (it was one of their bdays) and honestly from the very beginning we felt so unwelcome! The server who was serving us did not seem to want to be there at all. She was so disinterested in helping us with anything. Super flat expression and seemed depressed maybe? Now I know people have off days, so you know whatever. But I mean you can still be personable and not wanting to interact much.
Then the food came out… now I remember Swiss chalet fondly for many years as it’s been the go to for my family for decades. And I sadly now say, I will NOT be coming back… the money is nowhere near worth it anymore! I mean I got MAYBE the equivalent of like 1/4 of a small chicken breast worth of chicken on my sandwich! And our Swiss chalet sauce container was only half full! Which okay, whatever we will still eat it we are hungry. So we dive in, only to discover all the food was somehow cold?! Like we just ordered and yet none of it seemed to be even remotely warm… soup was! That was about it.. cold fries, cold chicken sandwich, none of it was what I’ve come to expect from Swiss chalet.
I used to love this place! I used to order it like once a week for a dinner and now I don’t think I’d waste my money… I really hope this location turns around cause it was...
Read moreDespite my continued patronage, I have regrettably encountered persistent issues with order accuracy, including frequent errors in fulfilling requests or omissions of items—an unfortunate pattern that has become difficult to overlook.
While I do not doubt the owner’s sincere concern for customer satisfaction, there appears to be a troubling disconnect between this intent and the execution of service. Repeated oversights, whether inadvertent or symptomatic of deeper operational challenges, have regrettably eroded my confidence in the reliability of your offerings. It is disheartening to witness no meaningful improvement despite what I can only assume are earnest efforts to address these shortcomings.
At this juncture, I am reluctantly compelled to take my patronage elsewhere, as trust in the consistency of your service has been irreparably diminished. I sincerely hope feedback such as mine might catalyze a constructive review of protocols, training, or communication practices to prevent similar frustrations for future...
