Taps N Tracks — Restaurant in Georgina

They have taps. There is most certainly tracks, adjacent to the plaza, where freight trains fly by aplenty. But this experience is infinitely more enjoyable than having your eardrums blown out for 20 minutes by Pefferlaw train conductors that refuse to let go of the whistle (which I'm certain there is some arcane Freudian explanation for).

You will be treated like family here, even if it's your first time visiting. The food is real and the portions are generous. Unlike many big food chains, TnT's menu does not act as an instant laxative -- this may or may not be desirable to some folks out there (again, some Freudian explanation probably exists for the people that enjoy this post-digestion experience).

The atmosphere is equal parts modernist and Old West saloon; something for both the sophisticated connoisseur and the snakeskin boots-wearin' cowboy. It is seriously not uncommon to see both bourgeois businesspeople and the local cattle rustlers sat side-by-side enjoying the food and ambience at this establishment. If the excellent food, staff, and service isn't enough, perhaps the dream of a world where everyone is cordial to one another is a good enough reason to visit on its own -- it certainly seems to be more than dream at...

Great local eats 👌 The chief is putting out some great food from this little place, we has tried lots of different meals on the menu and havent been disappointed at all. My favorite is the burgers, soooo good and the portions are fantastic. This location has been so many different restaurants in the past, but I really hope this one stays for the long run the community needs a place like this for locals and cottages a like.

Only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the service....the waitresses are welcoming and all but slow at times, there has been times when multiple tables are waiting for attention and the waiting staff is at the bar talking to each other and not checking on...

On a whim I decided to visit Tap n Tracks and I was not disappointed. It was busy and I didn't have a reservation but I still managed to be seated at the bar. The server Justine was kind, friendly and efficient. My order was taken, placed and finished within 10 minutes of being seated despite how busy it was. The kitchen staff was fast and careful when it came to making orders. Ben looked like a man on a mission the entire time I was there, and although I didn't catch the rest of the staff's names they were all hard at work. The food was delicious. I can't stress enough that that was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The food and service were worth...
