They did a great job. We were 14 people without a reservation. Waitress handled all timely. Cook was great to get all food out in a relatively quick manner. Food was hot, cooked well, all enjoyed by all. Very interesting decor was amusing, true to a cook house and saloon. I had the Bellvie Cheese Steak (aka Philly cheese steak) one of the best. Lots of real roast beef, very filling, and the peppers were cooked right, still a bit of crunch. Great portions. Fries and gravy were done right. All of said a definite place to go back to. My friend said the house made burger was good and a very solid, filling, burger.

My third time here, and I've enjoyed every visit very much. The first couple times I just had some beer, pop, and chicken wings. It was all really fun! This time, I successfully climbed the Meatloaf Mountain. It dominated me, but I still reached the peak 🏔 🌄 I feel like a warrior, even though I narrowly escaped defeat. About the service, the lovely lady who had served me was very pleasant, polite, and sweet. I had a fun time, and although I live almost an hour away, I'll be there again next week. Thanks Belvedere 🍻

This is a fantastic restaurant option for Pefferlaw. They offer plenty of comfort food in a beautifully renovated historical pub. The decor is lots of wood with a wild bill style look. Not pretentious but fancy enough for a party or family meal. My personal favourite meal is liver and onions, because I just can't be bothered cooking it for myself and they do a much better job. Hubby's favourite is the meatloaf. They also offer daily specials that are always excellent too.

Worse service I've ever seen, although it seems to only be the one waitress that's terrible. The table beside us went through 3 different sets of people while it took nearly 2 full hours from start to finish for us to receive our food, which was 2 entrées and a kids meal. We were going to order more and had another person join us but he sat there for over 20 minutes waiting to even see her nearby and she was nowhere to be found. He ultimately decided not to order and just make his own food when he got home.

She didn't refill our water once nor ask if we wanted more or if the food was good. I ordered pickles (which she ended up putting on my friends bill) for an appetizer, they came cold with a container 1/4 full of Ranch. It took over 10 minutes to get her attention to ask her for another container. She didn't take a drink order for the toddler meal asked her for milk on the next time we saw her ended up having to ask her again 15 minutes later. Finally received the food which was also cold, asked for a different kind of mayo for the cold sweet potato fries, she walked by me 5x bringing people drinks, the machine to pay or just walking around with still no mayo. Took 15 minutes for me to finally receive it After that there was no sight of her for 30 minutes. We had to ask another waitress if we can order the dessert for the toddler that was with us and hot sauce I was waiting to request. She brings the hot sauce but no ice cream. Waited another 10 minutes still no ice cream, we flagged her down and asked her again for it as well as the bills. She returns right away with the bill but still no ice cream. A few minutes later we received the ice cream which is packed in a small Styrofoam container with a solid inch of chocolate sauce on top of it. Not a great idea for a toddler at 8pm (although we were seated around 6:15). At this point we had paid and we're sitting there feeding the toddler ice cream but he had lost interest, he had about 4 bites and we left. Overall the food tasted okay but wasn't anything special, the waitress was terrible, blonde, glasses and a small tattoo across her collarbone. It was quite clear that we were upset and she didn't even offer a discount or anything to smooth it over. When she did come to us after we had spoken to another waitress, she told us she was busy with a large table. Which I could see her walking around and didn't see any tables over 6 people but more importantly, does a large table mean the other tables are no longer important??

What should have been a nice night out for a young family with a newborn and toddler and myself turned into a frustrating and...

To be fair this one will take a couple more visits to decide, as it looks like reviews are all over the map. I liked the small town saloon type decor with tree trunk table supports and the full length outside porch reminded me of an old western movie. We arrived a little early before the dinner rush and even then the service was slower then you'd expect. Prices were affordable. Ordered the half rack rib special and true to the menu the ribs were falling off the bone. The mashed potatoes were fine, portions were fine. But. I am a rib connisour. I enjoy smokehouse ribs from ribfests. So although they tasted ok they need to up their game, perhaps with an in-house smoker. Beer on tap was fine, my wife's fries were fine. The inside got louder but you could see families and friends getting together and having a relaxed time. The place could do with some live entertainment. This is a place you could let your hair down a bit. Be prepared to wait, it is popular among the locals. The staff was friendly but I sensed a bit of a siege mentality vibe, maybe they need more staff to handle the crowds. Hopefully they are being treated right by the cooks and management. As a past restaurant owner and a foodie the stars we give matter. This...

Haven't been there for quite some time and not sure if we will ever go back. After calling to make reservations and telling them it was a birthday we got a piece of cheesecake damn near tossed to my daughter. There were at least 5 birthday's all of which were acknowledged with cheesecake a candle and the ringing of the bell. At least 4 diff times I told waitress about the birthday. The service was pathetic. We got our food then never saw waitress again till clearing the table. Two people at our table had large pieces of steak on their plate which was snatched away. And requested dessert well the waitress was quite discussed and seemed put out that we should ask. All in all quite an experience my family does not...
