Les Rôtisseries Duhamel — Restaurant in Granby

Stopped here after spending day at Granby Zoo. Only 3 minutes away from Zoo.

Service was excellent despite a language barrier.

We ended up ordering separate dishes for everyone, but in future would just buy the family combos they offer. The chicken was excellent, so was the fried chicken poutine, which had these little magnificent crunchy chicken balls.

The establishment was very clean and well maintained, counter service but essentially setup like a regular dine in restaurant. Order up front, they get you your drinks or glasses and hand you a buzzer and then about 10 minutes it buzzes and you go fetch your food at counter. After you are done eating, a person is going around and clearing tables.

Overall good experience and will be back when in area and looking for something fast but still sit...

One person posted "cheap for what you get"...Cheap? What did he order? I have ordered a medium pizza and it costs over $28.00...I dont find that cheap.....Why do I order...because I do admit...Duhamel makes the BEST PIZZA in Granby.....I have tried several other items on their menu and I am sorry.....not good at all....the lasagna is not the best, very cheap with their sauce....chicken brochettes...the same....very cheap and not that good.....spaghetti...same...not that good.....I dont know who makes their pizzas, but that is the only thing i will...

Like many restaurants these days, the lack of staff and seemingly any management presence affects the overall quality of service, food and subsequently, atmosphere. As well, having worked in the industry most of my life, I found it to be in poor judgement that a person (owner,manager?) would proceed with non-urgent maintenance tasks, carrying a ladder between tables to adjust lamp levels, in close proximity to clients eating.
