Visited Tamworth from Toronto on a short weekend cabin trip, and this bakery/cafe was my favourite spot. It felt so homey, but the open kitchen when you enter made it look and feel like those early 2010's Food Network tv kitchens. The display of pastries and desserts was full of different things, and it was a bit inconvenient having to point at a plate and ask "what's this" because nothing was labelled, but it was still manageable. We got the coconut brownie and raspberry cheesecake and both were good but the brownie was too sweet and the chocolate layer on top was too hard to break off properly with a fork. The pear and prosciutto flatbread was delicious and my sister also said the Caesar chicken sandwich was delicious. You go to the counter and pick from the daily menu. Then, take a seat. The waiter will come to you and ask what you would like. This took a while.
