My recent visit to the A&W drive-thru was a complete fiasco, marred by poor communication skills and disrespectful treatment from the staff. Despite the convenience of the drive-thru, the overall experience was nothing short of disappointing.

As I approached the ordering station, I was hopeful for a quick and efficient transaction. However, my hopes were quickly dashed when the employee at the window assumed that I wanted a root beer without bothering to ask about my drink preference. This assumption was not only presumptuous but also disrespectful of my autonomy as a customer.

When I attempted to voice my dissatisfaction with the assumption and request a different beverage, the communication barrier became painfully apparent. The employee, seemingly unable to comprehend my complaint, responded with indifference and rudeness. To make matters worse, they abruptly closed the window on my face, leaving me feeling ignored and...

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went through the drive through at 5:52 ish Sunday Jan 5th 2025. We pulled up and had to say hello to be served. 3 meals were ordered and we asked for a tray. The man ignores that and hands us the 2 drinks. We said it again, he said I’ll give it to you. So we now had our hands full trying to put drinks in a tray while grabbing it through the window. So then he closes the window and nods towards us and makes a rude comment in a different language. I can read lips and I understood what was going on. As we struggled to put our drinks in he’s shoving our food out the window holding it in the cold air. We said can you give us a minute as he was extremely impatient and our food is now cold cause it was -15 outside. I’m a regular customer and work in the service industry in the area and will be sharing my experience with people. Not impressed as this is not how you do customer service coming from someone who provides it...

On Wednesday night the staff decided to close the store inside at 9 15 pm which the store is closed at 11 pm....also witness on native clientele that night they would shut the light inside the store to push people out of the restaurant... The next morning I had breakfast and things were good....I was asked to talk to the manager to explain the night staff previous action....no such management came to chat with me on this matter....which was mentioned he would come talk to me.... I came back at night to explain to the cashier the previous night action....the night management explain that I was no longer allow in the store....I ask why...they accuse me of doing drug in the store where I don't do drugs...this is the worst treatment I ever received and I will notify the head office about accusations and disrespectful...
