Suzanne's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Greater Sudbury

I moved down the street a year ago, been buying subs for lunch a lot but tonight I decided it was finally time to try the Rambo. I could never justify spending 20 bucks on a sandwich before.... until now. This was the biggest and best sub I have ever gotten in my entire life!!! Be aware though, this is probably enough to feed someone for 3 meals.

Now for the best part, it was pouring rain when I came in, I decided to walk because I only lived a couple doors away, and I left without even thinking of asking for a bag. Only to turn around and see the young man that was working, chasing me down the street to bring me a bag so I didn't get the sandwich wet! Seriously great service in this place. Came here for the first time last summer and got the Rambo sub and was amazed at the size and value of the sub. Went today to get a meatball sub and it was revolting. The meatballs were rubbery and tasteless, hardly any sauce, and there was way too much cheese (probably to mask the taste of the meatballs). I was asked if I wanted it warmed up and I said yes thinking they would do it in a toaster oven or something, but no they proceeded to nook it in a microwave for way too long. Not sure what's been going on here the past year but when you order a mini sub you expect more than 3 slices of thin pickle on it and like 8 olive bits. All I tasted was bread, sauce and cheese and a bit of crunch from the lettuce. If it's not a lack of care put into the sub, my order is wrong. The other half of the time it's perfectly fine.

Plenty of us grew up coming here and I must say the quality and care have gone down enough that it's noticable. It's unfortunate, hopefully it improves at some point but after several disappointments I won't be going out of my...
