Longlac Pizzeria — Restaurant in Greenstone

While driving from Toronto to BC we stopped by this friendly diner to grab some takeout pizza. I ordered the vegetarian pizza, minestrone soup and Caesar salad. The server was very friendly and attentive, since the meal took some time to prepare we decided to sit and have the soup while we waited for the pizza. The server got us our Caesar salad, I forgot to mention I didn’t eat bacon. To my surprise he prepared us a fresh salad to take out without bacon and didn’t charge us. I was willing to take the bacon out and eat the salad but this friendly and attentive gesture caught my eye. He went out of his way to make sure our meal was prepared right even though it was my fault to not mention this in the first place. If you’re in town please, I would highly recommend eating in at this place. The food was hot and excellent and the pizza was prepared well. Thank you for having us. Great service Great food 1)Veal liver with sauted onions and bacon Perfectly seasoned and cooked wonderfully flavoured liver, a generous portion, served with a sizeable amount of sauted onions and 2 long slices of bacon. Mashed potatoes served in gravy was the best of it's kind that I have ever had The coleslaw was not the best, still good 2)Philly cheese steak wrap, a big burrito kinda wrap with a decent amount of meat and wonderful sauce (don't know which sauce) and all dresses served with thick cut freshly prepared fries and sweet and hot bbq sauce was a really delecious. The lady who served us was wonderful in her service and really friendly, also drew a smiley on the food pack. Its a great restaurant in a small town...

I seen the other reviews which seemed to be fairly good Ordered my food for pickup for 9:15 got there for 9:13 my medium pizza was already done and waiting and my lasagna was in the oven "Browning the top" and my 12 chicken wings were still being cooked as well, Got to my hotel room (Four Winds) probably 100m away and my pizza was pretty damn near cold the lasagna was carelessly thrown into the container and Not "Brown" at all and the chicken wings has less meat than a cricket would. All for a Hefty Price of $56, Could've went to an actual NICE resteraunt for that amount of money.. Very Disappointed.
