I have tried repeatedly to give this local restaurant the benefit of doubt based on the supposedly great reviews (which I am starting to doubt) but honestly the sweltering heat inside will make you feel like you are in a sauna ordering food, the constant flies are amnoying though I noticed they tried a magnetic screen over the weekend, to say the place is dated is an exaggeration it looks like an abandoned and derelict building that someone decided would be an awful place to prepare and serve food to the public. Every direction you look in is major deterioration from the ceiling to the gross floors, windows are garbage, they have an apartment sized window A/C that is either broken or not able to cool off 2 ft x 2 ft section directly above the prep station and kitchen with a fan (yes because blowing dust and whatever else is in the decrepit bldg sounds great as seasoning on your eggs). The service is great unless the kitchen staff decide to take a break at the same time, wait staff are amazing though how they can even work comfortably is a mystery. The bacon was flavorless and if you order over easy ask them to cook your eggs enough that the whites are not raw. They obviously put nothing back into their business to improve, update or even maintain it. Neither the food or the appalling atmosphere warrant any of these glowing reviews. I have tried to give them multiple chances and each time I leave feeling disappointed. I...

Not worth the wait they ask you to. Staff is too rude

I couldn’t find a way to reply to the rude reply you gave to my review But I would love to elaborate the whole incident. First of all I didnt walk into your restaurant with 10 people with me. I came in with one other person with me and was patiently waiting for any one from your staff to come and talk to me. But after standing there from almost 5 min someone came and starting talking without even listening to me or what I had to say or ask and and ran away without listening to my reply to whatever the person which you say that you were. Thats is the rude behaviour I was referring to in my review and theres no lie in this and if that was you then you know what I am talking about here. I had no problem waiting and was not stating or asking anyone from your staff to seat me right away. I had a few questions before asking you to prepare our table so your time is also not wasted. So before stating that you are worth it or not you should know that its the customers who will decide whether you are worth it or not you can state all you want but how your staff and you treat people is...

First time here. Have heard great things about this restaurant so wanted to check it out. My experience started out great. We were greeted and the server was kind. They were super sweet and put a fresh pot of decaf coffee on for me. Our order was taken and then made very quickly. I expected to wait longer and was surprised with how quickly they had it up.

The food was pretty good. I am not a fan of eggs but on occasion do enjoy a Tex mix (camp mix) and they did a good job. I really enjoyed the rye bread that came with my meal.

I ordered my meal with no onion and it came with a few pieces of onion in it. Not a big deal. I let it go because I understand it happens sometimes. While my partner was eating he found hair in his food. He politely ignored it and carried on.

Not sure if we will return in the future but was happy to give a local place a try. I would recommend Kim’s Restaurant as the staff was pleasant and the food was good...

Kim’s Place Restaurant is a comfy and small place located just by the Leelas Villa Inn. It has good food and is worth visiting. In fact they have a deal going on that I took part of, staying at the inn grants you free breakfast here. The eggs were scrambled, though they have other options, and I had both the sausage and ham options by the two days I’ve been in. The toast options are brown, white, and rye. Coffee or juice comes with it. The food is about the quality one expects in such a location. Good, filling, and cooked properly. The service is wonderful. The staff seem small but they are all working to ensure the best for all. The atmosphere is a classic breakfast nook. Kids in one corner and some conversation in another that all floats together while you eat. Timing wise, the breakfast flows for quite awhile. We arrived early once and closer to noon another and all that changed was how busy it got as the day progressed.

Round of applause goes to these wonderful woman who are cooking breakfasts and lunches in 40 degree heat. The service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was hot but there was plenty of ice cold water to cook us down. The menu has a good selection of breakfast favourites and also, includes things like black pudding i.e. blood pudding. The food was yummy, home fries and pancakes were a win. They do substitutions for people looking to for a breakfast without meat at no extra cost. Will absolutely visit again. Family and kid friendly Fast service Very clean & tidy Open kitchen No A/C just fans Serves coffee Sit down & take out/walk-in available here
