Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Grey Highlands

The one star is for the individual cleaning the washrooms consistently. Otherwise someone from upper management needs to come in and assist their manager in communication skills and organizing their lines and create signage to ensure such communication is available for their “guests” to follow since they don’t have a personnel dedicated to traffic direction. Because instead of professionally directing the guests to wait outside in an organized manner the manager ends up yelling at the guests to get out if they aren’t on a dot. First of all which one? Because you have squares crossing each other for the washrooms and order line and pick up line. Watched a customer complain and have to remind the worker that he’s been waiting for his food for fifteen minutes and it was just a bagel. Also the cashier apparently couldn’t understand me when I said ten tim bits, repeated four times because she was completely dumbfounded with the colour of my skin. I speak English very well, and do not have an accent... so, does the staff not speak English? Avoid this...

I returned a chipped Tim Hortons Toronto coffe mug from another Tim Hortons franchise and learned the following:

1. Each Tim Hortons franchise decides what they can and want to refund.
2. If they don't carry the item they can ask you to return to the franchise where you purchased it originally (300 miles away)
3. They can ask the other franchise to send a store credit (gift card) to the customer by mail

The store manager of this franchise was kind enough to mail me a gift card by mail after trying to fix the issue with the other franchisee. She didn't need to do it and went out of her way.

I have worked eight years in retail and once brought a discontinued item from the Paris store to our London store. The customer couldn't believe I did this just for 20 pounds worth of goods.

Conclusion : customer service is the glue that keeps a customer attached to your brand regardless of the red tape you face in the back office. Make it happen. Make it count. Make it memorable.

For a few months this was a good stop that would fill the iced Capp if requested at least- however now they refuse, and the cashier laughed at me when I said I wasn’t paying full price for a partial product; saying “honey we own all the Tim hortons along highway tem so good luck finding anyone who will fill it for you” Honey no issues!!!! I’m making it myself🥰 I’m not driving another 20-30km to hit up the next mid-timmies.

I just make strong coffee, add sugar freeze it, and cream and blend when frozen. So disappointed as a non-coffee drinker it took me so long to figure out but now that I have; personally I will never consume Tim Hortons again; if I pay a little more for a Starbucks it’s a nicer drink, completely full - AND never leaks- I have literally dropped a full large Starbucks Frappuccino from 4 feet and it landed on its side and the lid stayed on.
