The Lunch Corner — Restaurant in Hague

On Thursday February 6th, I went to the Lunch Corner for lunch during my school lunch. I usually go there because the food is good and worth the price. I went up to ask for my student special, which was dry ribs and fries at the time and I asked if I payed extra would they throw in some more dry ribs for me. Seems like a valid question and I wouldn't get trouble for it right? Wrong. They told me that if I wanted extra dry ribs I would have to order the full thing which was 18$. When the student is just 5$. I was expecting to pay maybe 8$ for the extra ribs but I guess not. A wonderful little place. Great service and great home cooked food at reasonable prices. I had the hamburger steak with lots of onions, mushrooms and fantastic gravy along with a huge serving of the best mashed potatoes and gravy ever. Even the peas and carrots were freshly cooked.
