They sold me a "Southwest Steak and Avocado Bowl", when I opened it up, there was no visible steak in it. I assumed they forgot to add it, so went back to the counter.
When I asked about it they said the meat was underneath the rice. When I dug through it in front of them I could only locate two pieces of meat that together I'd estimate were well under an ounce in weight. I've had the same menu item at the same Subway a couple of times before and the experience was very different, with the meat on top, rather than being hidden underneath everything and at least 3-4 times the volume (still quite small, but that's normal).
They said they couldn't do anything about it, citing that they use a scoop to measure. I noticed that their scoop for the steak was a different smaller design than the rest of their scoops, made of metal instead of the plastic/polymer like the rest. I wonder if the location swapped out the official one for a smaller one. Either way, the meat I could find in the dish was significantly smaller than the scoop that was there.
At that point I asked for a refund, which they refused repeatedly, so I left the food at the counter having not eaten any of it and am here giving my review instead.

Read moreI was the first customer of the day, shortly after opening. I ordered a sausage and egg on Flatbread with extra sausage and cheese. Then as the employee was beginning to put the egg and sausage on, I asked if she could heat them up first, saying please and thank you. The look this girl give me was one of total disgust. I mean, who wants cold egg and sausage, for breakfast? So then, after all 2 veggies and sauces were added, I politely asked to wrap the halves separately, as it's easier to eat as a truck driver.
