To begin with, the staff being so welcoming already sets a good tone for the service we were about to receive.

Andrea was the one who assisted us and she was sweet, patient (because it was my first time there haha) and because we requested spicy, they offered their house made piri-piri and Carolina 1920 which was a hit for us! The habanero from that sauce truly elevated the « Bife de Frango Grelhado ».

We also had dessert with espresso and I truly liked the cinnamon stick on the side to eliminate the coffee breath 😎

Now let’s talk about the SETTING! 🔥 You can tell the owner was intentional with the staging because it truly transpired Portuguese authenticity. I also noticed that they were detailed in their decoration because from the whole setting it was warm, the music was good too and even the tv was related to the restaurant lol! It was two different worlds in one small location. Adding the wall to separate take outs and dine-in, I’d like to give the flowers to the owner because this renovation was a great investment.

I was even told that the owner didn’t want to stretch himself too much to keep the quality and that I really appreciated his decision. Therefore to the owner, may your business keep its integrity while you witness increase in your turnover. May you experience success with grace. May you continue to evolve because I had a great time.

I'm very disappointed with the dine-in service. Not only it took almost 45 minutes to get my order ready, my order was messed up, because my side of potato was replaced with rice, missing the sautéed onions and a 2nd sausage. I only asked for the 2nd sausage and didn't bother asking about adding the sautéed onion and changing the rice for potato since it's a hassle. I get that preparing the delivery orders can be busy, but the staff didn't even check if everything is ok, I had to walk up to the counter to let them know. At the very least, check to see if everything the order was fine and give me an estimate for how long until the order is ready. I was also not asked nor given any condiment, so I had to eat my fries plain. The meat was not fresh either, they taste like they were left in the freezer for too long. I gave a 3 star because even though the order was messed up, the employee was very sorry about it, so I still appreciate it. The food is excellent, the front end staff is great, I would have given 5 stars but last couple times I had issues with orders getting mixed up: first time I ordered over the phone, the second time I ordered in person. The first time staff accommodated and apologized. The second time I waited in the restaurant and heard my order called so I walked up and grabbed the only bag that was on the counter, thanked the guy behind the counter who didn't acknowledge me. Got to my car, checked inside the bag and it didn't seem to be my order, only to see buddy run out of the store to try and find me. I gave him back the food and apologized despite the fact that he caused the confusion, he looked at me with disgust like it was my fault. Pro tip bud: don't call out an order like it's ready if you haven't finished plating it... Front end staff was great again all the same. Will using mobile app to order...
