Tuesday Dec 3rd 2024. Two very nice, very cheerful workers behind the counter. They could pay a little more attention as I ordered a 6" meatball sub on whole wheat and they made a footlong... they also asked the guy behind me what kind of sub he wanted and he told them and then they had him repeat it 2 more times. Other than the slight lack of focus the experience was amazing.
Subway Meatball sub is one of my go-to orders, has been for almost 30 years now. I have to say, this is the BEST meatball sub I've EVER had from any restaurant. All subway employees in the past year or two have been putting WAY too much sauce on subs, that's universal across all of Canada though. Today the sauce to topping ratio was perfection, the meatballs tasted super fresh, the tomatoes weren't completely see-through like at most subway restaurants these days.
The place was very clean considering the weather (blizzard outside so it's hard to have the floors shining with people in and out constantly). Tables all clean, holiday music playing not too loudly and the employees were smiling and super friendly.
It was such a nice experience that I decided to sit and dine in, instead of eating my sub in my work truck in the parking lot haha. And I NEVER dine in, so you know the atmosphere must have been great.

Read moreAlright so , I am a local from GP and go to this Subway Location often as I work nearby. Not sure what is going on with the staff there but since the last two days I have been there the person working in morning shift has been: Extremely rude with his tone of voice and body language
Argued with me when I requested him to make my food with some different additions than their normal recipe.
Slams the sauce bottle on counter while staring at me ( showing me passive aggression).
Burnt my food and then served it to me. (I did not take pics, I should have !)
Today I even tried to have a friendly convo by saying “ Hi how are you?” He gave me no response and just started at me. Then all over again with the order. He did not burn my food today which was good. But his personality was the same as the day before. Even another customer walked in today to order his sub and this individual treated him the same way.
I am extremely thankful they let me use the public washroom as I work outside , I usually get hungry for lunch but I no longer want to order and food from this location due to this kind of Customer Service provided by the staff. I have had interactions with other staff at this location and they have been wonderful but u know : One bad fish spoils the whole pond. My condolences to those who have to work with...
Read moreWent there yesterday and I had ordered online they didn’t make them both meals when I had selected 2 drinks and chips and cookies 2 Italian bmts were ordered. They also forgot the bacon so I called and the manager said she would give me a free sub. Went back today and the guy on shift was rude and didn’t seem like he enjoyed his job very much he was slamming his knife down and sighing and being disgruntled like I was an inconvenience. I almost forgot the bacon and had asked to add bacon and he was trying to toast my whole sandwich after the bacon and I told him I didn’t want it toasted but I don’t want my bacon cold. He seemed upset that I said I would be getting the sandwich free. I went back today because in situations like this they usually don’t “note” it so the team knows. I was right because when I got there he had said there’s no note and had to call her which also seemed like an inconvenience to him. The store was empty and not busy whatsoever. Jahule not sure if I spelt it right was his name. He made my whole visit worse than it should have been.
Two days in a row of very bad service.
My sandwich was soggy and overdone with sauces.
Also little to no meat on the replacement sub.
