Jungle Jim's Eatery — Restaurant in Happy Valley-Goose Bay

This review is WAY overdue. In 2009 I was with a crew returning to the States from some godforsaken part of the world. We had to stop overnight at Goosebay and came in late. It was, I believe, a Monday night in October. We were cold, tired and very hungry. Most every eating establishment was closed. We came in and asked if they were open. My husband and I went in separately because I was on the phone in our truck doing some business. He needed a restroom. We ended up sitting in separate booths waiting for each other. We both ordered our favorite drinks while waiting. Finally my husband texted me saying he had a booth and had ordered drinks. So funny because I was on the other side, having done the same. I was thrilled to get wifi and use my internet after such a long journey. We both ordered a 8 oz steak, potatoes, with vegetables. It was delicious. Cooked just as ordered....

Always a good spot to have a great dine in experience. Great for birthday's, work function lunches, date nights. Etc. Can spend anywhere between 20-40 per person, depending really on what you may order. More so, if you have an alcoholic beverage with your meal it may pick up your tab a little bit.
