🛑 Disappointing Experience at Mariners Gallery
I genuinely hate leaving negative reviews, but my visit to Mariners Gallery was beyond frustrating. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty—with only about half a dozen patrons—my party waited close to two hours for our meal. The focus seemed entirely on one particular table, while the rest of us were left to feel invisible.
It took over 90 minutes just to get an appetizer, and even our drinks were delayed. The waitress took our order only to immediately leave and help someone pay, disappearing for another 10–15 minutes. The disorganization was astonishing.
When the food finally arrived, it was simply not worth the wait—poorly prepared and frankly inedible. I let them know kindly, hoping for some acknowledgment or courtesy adjustment. Instead, I was charged the full amount—over $40—for a meal I couldn’t even eat.
Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had. From the slow service to the low-quality food and lack of accountability, it’s safe to say I won’t be returning. 10/10 do...
Read moreGreat breakfast. Prices are what you'd expect. Home fries I had with a fish and chips dinner were "reheated" though. Better go there on the Friday seafood buffet for fish I was told. Went there again September 14th for a late lunch, the place was virtually empty. A server, who seemed bothered by the fact I was waiting to be seated, as I was interrupting her other duties, huffed at me asking, "Just yourself"? And I joking replied in a light hearted tone, "Yes, just me, myself and I".. She then said, "Here" pointing to a small table in the pathway to the kitchen and wait to be seated area.. (many unused tables and booths available, this particular one was obviously for overflow when very busy). Then rudely she said, "Well, pick a seat (out of the 3 chairs) so I can remove the cutlery you won't be using" (cutlery was wrapped and paper-banded). She then dealt out a lunch menu like a dealer dealing cards and left.. After 5 minutes of waiting for service to order, I got...
Read moreHad breakfast here with our family, and the food was very bad. I ordered eggs benedict, and the hollondaise sauce was anything but. As far as I could tell, it was melted butter thockened with cornstarch or something. It was a clear, yellow, greasy gel. My wife had the breakfast skillet that promised "spicy chorizo sausage" and "shredded potato hash." The sausage was just a bland store bought breakfast sausage and the hasbrowns were just the tiny square bagged frozen ones. The entire dish was dry, bland, and inedible. She also had a side order of the "hollondaise sauce." My kids had bacon and eggs and they wouldnt even eat the dried strips of bacon. The meal cost near 100 dollars for two adults and 2 small kids. At least the service was friendly; but you'd be better off heading to...
